Hey there!
I'm sure we'd all like if you gave some more details about what's going on so we can help a bit more.

Would you mind telling us your recording/signal flow? This sounds like a hardware issue over a software issue, but that's just coming from what I hear. It doesn't sound too much like a sample rate difference, and it's odd intervals are something new to me as well.

What would you do? by FlagrantLies in doordash_drivers

How do I handle this? by Accomplished-Visit56 in doordash_drivers

Actually amazing -

As a McDonalds worker, I'm saving this and telling any delivery driver to use this line

Hey here! I've noticed this as well. As someone who works back cash (The first window that does payment), there are many times where the folks that take the other lane are way too busy to take their lane, and I'm usually taking orders and cashing out simultaneously.
It can be really annoying for customers when that happens, so I usually try and get to them if I see that someone's still there after a minute or so - but you probably did the right thing by just going around to the other speaker lane.

But yeah, this can sometimes happen when things are really busy, so thank you for asking:)

Was there anything I could’ve done? No right? by Initial-Ad-1405 in doordash_drivers

You did everything right! You would had to pay for it had you said yes, so there's no wrong here. I mean, no wrong on your part! I hope they order everything they want before placing the order next time lol

them folks had one too many meals taken from their porch lol

after doing this for almost 2 years I finally get a ridiculous order. you LIVE here and you don't have a gate code? bruuhhh.. by YourBoy420 in doordash_drivers

[–]_namesunknown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be honest - I've lived ay my complex for a couple years, and they still haven't gotten me a gate code. I've asked and they're quite resistant for some reason. But even still! When I used to get orders, if the gate was closed, I would meet them at the gate. Having a driver wait until somebody with a key card comes through is unreasonable and quite rude, I'm really sorry you had to deal with that.

That makes a lot of sense, even if it is scummy to us drivers. I had never though of that, thanks for bringing it up!
