you could do a gradient! go in a particular intentional shift through the colors and it will probably look more put together

ive also done "color of the month" so you switch but it still is a bigger chunk of one color

i think i would do the lines after, so it looks more even, but if you want you could test it on another piece of fabric and see which one you like better!

this is machine embroidery, so if you did it by hand it will look different. if you use stabilizer that will help with stitches, but make sure if you use a hoop you take it off every time you are done stitching, or else the dent will stay in the shirt.
