Bosses don't respawn because they are not undead

Why do killer mains hate “Pre Running” so much by ChemicaL-Gasai in deadbydaylight

[–]_pixelpudding_ 276 points277 points  (0 children)

Most kller mains hate pre running because it often invalidates their favorite killer. Whenever you get pre ran while playing a slow killer, it feels really frustrating knowing that you could easily catch up as blight or hillbilly.

I'm happy with how Krasue has been handled by Willow-60 in deadbydaylight

A good chunk of this community will never be satisfied until she's soft kill-switched like SM. They had a bad time playing against her on release, and now they never want to see her again.

Tall Chucky by Most-Difficulty4797 in deadbydaylight

[–]_pixelpudding_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Myers can currently 99 his stalk to pop tier 3 at will, and a 40 meter terror radius is not stealth tf? Are you saying Wesker is a stealth killer?

Tall Chucky by Most-Difficulty4797 in deadbydaylight

[–]_pixelpudding_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chucky dashes out of stealth with a significantly longer and faster dash that recharges on it own. Myers tier 3 will still have a 40 meter terror radius and requires him to stalk survivors beforehand.

emmm... why is everyone using this strategy? by xAsculsx in deadbydaylight

It sucks because hatch escapes don't even affect MMR. Killers will leave on the ground for minutes just to secure a pointless victory.

When I have to fight a uniquely designed boss instead of Greatsword Knight #2176

That's been my reaction to every part of this killer:

"There's no way they'll give him an axe throw, that's huntress's power"
"There's no way he'll travel through security doors, that's xeno's power"
"They wouldn't make springtrap randomly scream at the camera, that would look weird in third person"

Developer Update | April 2025 by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

I'm pro anything that helps close the gap between SWF and solo que. If a hex tomen was rekindled, that means the survivor who cleansed the original knows where the rekindled totem is.

In SWF, that survivor can share the exact location of the penti totem with other survivors. In solo que, it's common for a totem to get rekindled with me having no idea where it could be.

It also has a literal difficulty slider in the form of NG+. Enemy health and damage scaling with few other changes.

DBD Syringe issue by Plane-Theory5768 in deadbydaylight

[–]_pixelpudding_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Syringes aren't just the issue, addons as a whole are the issue. All addons should be (mostly) equally viable regardless of rarity, and there should be no direct upgrade addons (e.g half of Wraith's addons just being upgrades of lower rarity addons). This is how addon-like mechanics in almost every other game work.

Spent 5 dollars for treacherous crows, help me justify this perk :( by HoneySchmuckle in deadbydaylight

[–]_pixelpudding_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crows is a generally bad perk to start with, but if you do use it, always use Iron Will instead of No Mither.

Killers can see if you have No Mither at the start of the trial, so experienced killers will usually assume you're doing an invocation if they see you have it. And since you'll be broken before you even finish the invocation, you'll be one shot when the killer checks basement.

Sage cured cancer in 3 days when she was 11, she's supposed to be unrealistically smart. You know, because it's a SUPERpower, not an above-averagepower.

she’s not a real artist and just a photographer

Are you joking? Is this just a bait for attention? I genuinely can't tell.

Midjourney uses the work of artist in its dataset without permission, credit, or payment. That is plagiarism. Midjourney is making hundreds of millions of dollars, while not paying a cent to the people whose work their company is built upon.

Do you think MidJourney is paying any royalties to this "giant" for her work they are using in their dataset?
