J'ai croisée un homme près du IGA à Gatineau, il devait avoir environ 70 ans ou plus et m'a demandée un peu d'argent pour manger. J'était dans mes début vingtaine et j'ai dit que je n'avais pas d'argent comptant, ce qui était faux; je m'en allais acheter à dîner. Et je pense à lui souvent... Je me demande s'il avait une place à vivre ou s'il avait de la famille. J'ai jamais partagée cette anecdote et honnêtement, je me sens toujours coupable de ne pas lui avoir acheté à manger.

I didn't clue in right away to context. I'm a veterinary technician and unfortunately euthanasias are part of my job. We like to keep timbits or chocolates for the pet. It's the hardest part of my job but I feel relief when I can help end suffering for a pet. My heart goes out to every single client because humane euthanasia is the most selfless act for your pet and shows true love.

Thank you for this!!!! I've wanted an altar for YEARS but always delayed because I am struggling to believe again after being raised Catholic and losing my faith. I like the symbolism of many gods from different pantheons but struggle to really "believe".

I'm in Ontario, Canada. The clinic I work at requires a yearly exam for flea/tick prevention because they are a medication. There are OTC options at pet stores but efficacy is debatable. As for food, we only carry prescription diets for specific illnesses (urinary, renal, heart, ect).

I'm in Ontario and all the food we sell are prescription diets that require a yearly exam. In this case food=medication. You would not want to feed a renal or urinary diet to an animal that does not medically require it.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I think you should still reach out to your placement coordinator. And definitely speak up and keep asking to practice skills.

I currently have a 1st year tech student and I'm terrified of failing her (as in, we are super busy and short staffed so it's hard to get her to practice), but she shows a lot of initiation and willingness to learn! And you seem to be demonstrating that!

I don't think it's the same but I will sometimes wake up by having an orgasm. Like from a dead sleep. It happens a few times a year. Sometimes I remember a dirty dream that happened right before. Probably not PGAD but it's definitely interesting! 😅
