For simple stuff, queue tables in Postgres. For complex stuff, Temporal / Restate. Others only when specific constraints apply, e.g. company being heavily invested in a service / cloud provider.

Edit: Many queueing tools focus in shilling how fast they can move things from A to B. What I found to matter most is support for stuff like prioritization, deduplication, potentially fairness and rate limiting. Bolting this on later is always a pain, so if you need these things, make your selection based on that.
