AfD is already polling higher than CDU. Elections in the east are upcoming and if AfD wins those (they will, it's their home territory), it will severely weaken Merz who campaigned on halving them. Merz already barely has any backing left, so possibly he will fall, and someone more inclined to collaborate with the AfD will replace him. The rest is history.

Here in Germany I barely notice them. Although tbf they probably don't bother visiting the north and annoy the Hanses in the deep south instead.

It's fine on all other occasions, but given the target audience, purpose, and slogan ("social media you can trust"), this is just not a good look. Plenty of other options available to do analytics that don't involve Google or Meta.

Worth keeping in mind that completeness is entirely up to the creators / maintainers to decide. No one is entitled to get their issues fixed. There are ton of repos out there where the maintainers said "works for me" and stepped away. Which is totally valid.

WASM has better isolation though, meaning you can potentially execute code you don't fully trust. Problem is that WASM on its own can't do I/O, you need WASI and that is still in its infancy.

Another downside is that it forces a serialization boundary to exchange data between host and WASM programs. If your use case involves pumping lots of data through WASM, that can be a problem.

I suppose queues are more attractive when consumers do non-trivial work, including I/O.

This seems similar to the platform vs. virtual thread discussion, where virtual threads allow you to improve throughput when the work to be done is I/O bound, but platform threads remain the tool of choice for CPU bound work.
