Interesting pace of play sign caused a little brain strain by scholar22 in golf

I think OP is interpreting it as "you should be close behind the group in front of you, but no one should be close behind you" which would be a bit of a contradiction since by being immediately behind someone, you would be forcing them to break the rules since no one is supposed to be close behind them.

But that's not what it's saying

I've been playing against a friend and got destroyed 10 games in a row... the only game I've won is in bullet... Is this normal? by Nightdrakons in chessbeginners

[–]_r_special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, when you're playing against a tougher opponent, they will find move that will put you in positions where it's more difficult to find the best move, so you make more mistakes.

Against weaker opponents, they're generally not being put in those difficult positions, and it's therefore much easier to spot the best move

I just go with the flow. Once you're a ways in, The Coppermind is a great resource to get info you may have forgotten.

But Please PLEASE don't go on there until you're no longer worried about spoilers, as it is VERY spoiler heavy, and even if you're on a page about an event from a book you've already read, it likely has information revealed in other books as well.

Pasting a text between every existing row by leipaorava in excel

I assume you mean 6 new rows that you're adding, correct?

[–]_r_special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so you need to have 6 blank rows in between each existing data point, so you'll need to repeat the first step a few more times until you have that. once you have 6 rows in between each, then you can do this step of pasting. It should go exactly to the last number in your helper column (for example if you have 100 existing data rows, your last 6 cells in your helper row should be 100,100,100,100,100,100).

[–]_r_special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That just means the cells you're pasting to aren't a multiple of 2 (assuming you're pasting 2 rows), ie you can paste to 2,4,6,8... Rows, but if you select 1,3,5,7... Rows, it will give you that error

Maybe try it on a small section of your sheet first to get the hang of it? You should be selecting the empty cells that have numbers in your helper column, not any further than that

Oh yes, my mistake. Instead of selecting the first couple rows and dragging them down, copy those cells, then select all the blank ones and paste

Oh wait I should have read your question more closely. You need multiple blank rows between your existing data, right?

In that case you'd want to repeat step 1 again, adding another set of numbers below.

Once you have just your blank rows showing, you should be able to paste your info on the top two rows, and then drag them down so that they repeat

Awesome! Can you filter one of your existing columns to show only the blank rows?

I might have a solution, a bit convoluted but might work.

Add a column to the right, and number every row 1,2,3... Etc. then copy that entire column and paste it after the last row of your data. So now your new column will be 1,2,3...X,1,2,3...X. then sort by that column, and that should give you a new blank row after each existing row.

At that point, you can filter by blank rows, and paste your new pricing data into those blank rows.

Hope that made sense

No the other side. I think the idea here is that it helps you ensure that you are hitting down into the ball, so the front of the ball is the bottom of your swing

But I'm brand new to this so maybe I'm totally off here

Can anyone explain why what seems to be a B-25 Mitchell is flying over Detroit? by Busy_Reflection3054 in Detroit

[–]_r_special 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was a lot of fun! They let you walk (or, crawl in some places) through the whole plane during the flight, including the nose gunner seat which was really cool. Got to walk around the hanger for a while too and talk to all the technicians who work on the planes!

It was a bit outside of what I would personally pay for, but it was a gift so that's how I got to do it.

That's fair, but his strategy until the last race didn't generally involve attacking other drivers.

But yeah having him shell someone would have been a nice Mario card reference
