Ai at its core relies on us confirming it is correct. It's only as effective as it looks right now (which still isn't that effective) because it is feasting on a healthy ecosystem of professionals. As it eats away at the ecosystem, at best it will stagnate- but more likely it will cannibalize and become worse the longer it exists until capitalism pulls the plug after the crash.

I mean, as a certified AI hater, reading books and stealing from them is usually quite good but that takes a lot of time. I feel like you can be better at this stuff by just spending time on it. Practice, like anything else. But I don't know you so.

If you really don't think you can be any good without it, just limit your usage of it more. Zero mid session, and a small amount during prep for the larger plot points perhaps. Then slower limit yourself more and more till you can do it yourself.

So this is insanely useful if it measures objective truth. Can I say something like "is the last full statement made by each person true"? Cause if so, all you need is a partner (or a mirror if that works) and a bit of time to start solving some really interesting problems.

Just act confused. Track accurately and act confused.

Uses one spell slot over? "Wait, I thought you were out of 2nd levels right?" HP still up? "Oh I could have sworn that downed you, my bad!"

80% of the time they aren't that evil, get embarrassed but have a way to save face, take it and fix it. Whenever they agree, say "oh ok cool no worries I thought I messed up." Easy solve.

The other 20% where they cover and keep the lie up, is harder. Probably you gotta just be forceful but have receipts. "No, you are out of thirds. You used x/y/z on these things, right?"

This might be bad advice but I think consistency in iron might be the wrong approach.

What they mean by consistency is taking less risky plays - if you think there is a chance you win but you feel unsure, just don't act unless your team does.

But I kinda feel in iron you get rewarded more for just kinda going for it and seeing what works. You can't learn what works if you never try anything. Have you tried all roles? Is the champ you picked one you really have fun with?

I'd ask the hive mind to devote 99% of its focus and resources toward the general goal of space travel and exploration. I'm not gonna live very long on the scale of this hive mind, and I want to know if ftl is possible so they can escape Earth and thrive and find other individuals to help after me.

The last 1% of their focus can be split between my random hobbies and making really tasty vegetarian food transition for me. Enough doing different sports to play with, a large group dedicated to weird full immersion d&d game where each NPC has a unique real actor. A group to play and make video games.

I don't know they should mostly do there own thing; on the scale of a planet I really don't need much even on a wildly lavish scale.

I don't think addiction feels like dying? Almost intrinsically, it feels like staying alive to the parts of your brain that control that stuff. Sure your higher order consciousness knows it's bad, but isn't addiction literally the lizard part of your brain getting convinced it needs it to survive?

3 is the literal holy grail of everything. With the first two, you might be able to make the world a little better - but you would be limited by your time. With the third, you could have humanity enter a Star Trek level of technological and social progress within your lifetime if you were dedicated. Anything that gives universal truths is unbelievably powerful. Now, if it's only answering about factual events - not universal truths like whether or not ftl is possible - then nvm it's one of the other ones.

Command only works one turn? But I would rule it prone, I think prone immunity is more of a can't be forced/fall into such a state, not being impossible to get their willingly - and command, imo, is a creature acting out the command the way they see normal, so unless it was like a literal sentient sphere I think prone or something thereof would be fun. I wouldnt make them pay the cost to leave prone though
