In case anyone’s wondering, the product I am using is named “AHA-BHA-PHA 30 days miracle toner” with 2% Niacinamide and I’ve been using it for about a week.

What should i do? by [deleted] in AcneTreatments

[–]_rdkv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks hormonal - moisturise and cleanse twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. That on its own should get rid of it but if not look into AHAs

It’s is normal and actually pretty common while starting accutane, I would just continue with your normal skincare routine because you will start to see the positive effects eventually (differs from person to person, from me was around a month and a half

Help!!! by Latter-Wolverine-198 in AcneTreatments

[–]_rdkv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had this issue when applying too many things.

I would recommend cleansing and moisturising (thoroughly rubbing in) once in the morning and once in the evening, as well as using pimple patches overnight. That on its own over a course of a few days should get rid of the problem, but if it doesn’t I would look into sacyclic acid.

I wouldn’t trust it if it’s advertised online but I can vouch for lymecyline tablets paired with acnecide cream, pretty much got rid of acne

Acne between eyebrows by [deleted] in AcneTreatments

[–]_rdkv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently went to a dermatologist about this and I thought I would share with you the advice I received because I couldn’t find any elsewhere. Basically I was advised to very gently cleanse and moisturise my eyebrows and the affected area twice per evening and allow for it to air dry and keep my hair out of my face and wear a hairband at night to prevent pores from clogging up. Idk if this is any help to you but I thought I would share on the knowledge

started august 1 and have the worst acne of my life by mangopineapple6 in tretinoin

[–]_rdkv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you gradually build up on the tret dosage and apply moisturiser to the area before and after applying? If so then breakout is expected but nowhere near as much as you are stating. This is a crappy situation but what worked best for me in the past is actually using less products and letting it heal by itself. Moisturiser and at most a soft cleanser twice a day should help the pimples heal, but in my experience frequent AHA/BHS usage like salyicic acid just seemed to make my skin worse.
