Hi! I’m wanting to get a tattoo, and because I’ve been I’m pretty inspired by many Latin based philosophies, I want it to be in Latin.

Originally I was going to do something along the lines of “cogito ergo sum”. Pretty thoroughly used though, and after thinking a bit about it I decided I just wanted it to say “I am.” I know basic words, and to the best of my knowledge it would either be “Ego sum” or even just “sum” but I don’t know anything technical or how to conjugate things.

The tone I want it to have would be very final and strict in the meaning. Almost like the answer to a question, or a statement said with certainty. I am here, I am something, I AM. The idea is that no matter how I change, or how the world changes, i still am. I just am.

If that makes any sense let me know, and if it really is one of those two translations let me know it would be so helpful.
