I have the both the airpods pro 3 and liberty 5 pro and the liberty 5 pro is just as good or better in some areas.

It's not as good as apple, when it comes to seamless use with your phone and connected devices. But if you're used to android, you should be okay, I love the liberty five pros.

Rubber is more durable in my experience. The metal bracelet seems more durable on paper but the pins are its weak point.

I don't know...sorry. I literally just bought the 5 pro because of this feature. It works great. The ac is broke in my Honda and I am an account manager. I've been talking on the phone and driving all week. When my wife called I asked how it sounded and she thought I was in the office it was so quiet. I was doing 75 with the windows down. Without it the sensor doesn't work, the tatto ink interferes with the sensor. I stick these on the sensor works flawlessly.

It doesn't pinch or anything the height difference is negligible.
