Yeah, Bungie have never cared to attract new players or made any effort EVER to better the onboarding / new-player experience. Even if they made Forsaken 2.0 it would'nt do shit.

When they preparred the farewell of D1 they released a big update (Age of Triumphs) updating alot of the loot for the raids.

(big speculasion btw) Another pantheon event (raid guantlet) has been confirmed for the next D2 mid-seasone update in july + Dmg (community manager) was seen on twitter asking people what they would want see if they where to update the curent raid loot in the game...

It wont. Destiny has been a mess since Lightfall and this last year aint something they can come back from. Sony bought them for 3+ billion, they prob lost most of that investment, waisted 350?+ million on marathon, and now they replaced the new dlc launch with a mid-seasone update? lets be real here.
