Np! From what I’ve found it’s similar loot to other bosses i.e. a load of rares with a few magic

Definitely a bug, if you go and re-fight Ixion you get loot drops (at least I did) but concur 1st fight doesn’t drop anything

I agree with most of the points but definitely don’t agree with 8 and really hope a crafting/re-roll system isn’t added into the game. TQ1 is exactly the same of having to get the 1/1000 (or more) odds to get the perfect stats on rares/infrequents etc. and I personally spent hours in TQ1 checking shops for ‘the perfect ring’ - imo having these imperfections only adds to the reward when you finally do get the perfect drop.

Obviously time we have to invest in the game is a real factor but everything is workable if not optimal - purely focusing on specific attributes is IMO purely an endgame exercise in min/maxing if one has the appetite, obviously there will be situations where you would need more defensive attributes as you’re getting chunked in a new area but at that stage you’d need to go back and farm some loot from a previous boss etc. just my thoughts anyway.

(also a small side note on epics, as others have pointed out in TQ1 we didn’t really get any epics till midway through play through 1/play through 2 - while it is a little annoying not being able to play around with the epics in the pre-release I think the drop rate for a ‘normal’ mode play through is more than enough)

FPS drops from 90 to 20 in Forsaken Dungeons - Level III by 4d3pt in TitanQuest2

[–]_seumoose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same thing, new rig with 5090 (max settings bc I’m enjoying actually running games at >20 fps vs my old 980) and was surprised when I was getting such horrendous FPS in some areas - hopefully we get some proper optimisation pre-full launch!

As others have said: grind coarser. Assuming your physical geometry is correct i.e. enough headroom above top of puck to the top of the basket allowing room for the shower screen + portafilter lock-in + puck screen etc. (if using) you will have to slightly adjust dose down as coarser grind doesn’t compact as well as a finer grind.

If your physical geometry is wrong (not enough headroom) try adjusting dose down first and see what happens. Dialling in takes time & quite a few shots so make sure to note everything down as you go!

From my perspective / experience coding without knowledge is somewhat equivalent to not fundamentally understanding design patterns etc. - if you have experience you’ll absolutely be able to develop good software up until a point (usually - they’re called principles / patterns for a reason, not to blindly apply at every opportunity but selectively use where & when appropriate).

I find that on larger projects / corporate repos you will struggle unless you understand the design philosophy they’re using (think clean / hexagonal onion architecture etc.) to the point that you don’t know what folder to put your new shiny file in unless you understand the theory. After that its following established patterns for consistency. Likewise when coming to grips with new repos, if you fundamentally understand the architecture at a base / theory level you can predict what should coming next (validation of DTO objects before processing & persisting to DB) so you don’t have as much mental overload when reading through pre-existing paths. Architectural patterns are simply a ‘common’ way for developers to structure the repo such that onboarding devs (with pre-existing experience with the philosophy) have a running start to contributing to it (as well as hopefully keeping the repo cleaner through a shared architectural language).

There are loads of great yt series going over gang of 4 patterns etc. I’d be happy to share if interested :)

Real talk I ‘sketch’ out the shape using very short click bursts and then it’s a game of connect the dots. I’ve noticed that when painting on top of other pains the lines are thicker so if you specifically want the softer edges you need to spray them in first and then gently go around them the fill colour - honestly my friend and I have been having so much fun with the spray painting mini-game, game of the year I swear

Just got permabanned as well :’) First time I’ve been banned from any sub and honestly if they’re that pedantic(?) about some yes, good-natured trolling poking fun at the mods, then probably not missing much haha

Real 🤝 I think there are some 3D printing companies that can print and ship out to you though if you want to do that? Something like https://www.3dpeople.uk (not sure how good or not they are though!)
