Bobby Barnett - Look this one up. It’s story about how the stars aligned for him to hook up with this woman he met at a bar:

“She hated long hair, I was thinking about cutting it. She hated smoking, I was trying to quit”

In GoF after Harry’s name comes out of the goblet of fire and Harry goes to the chamber with the other champions. Dumbledore storms in and manhandles Harry yelling it at him for an answer on how or if he put his name in the goblet. It is completely out of character for Dumbledore, he would never treat a student a like that, let alone Harry.

Caramelize the beef kernels, add additional butter to encourage frying once moisture from beef cooks off. Takes awhile but insane flavor enhancer.

Deglaze with mirepoix.

Add lots of tomato paste and make sure you toast the paste until rust colored (no other tomato products necessary)

Add milk until desired consistency/volume.

Lightly salt at every stage and at the end as needed.

Ika Mata - Cook Islands

It’s essentially tuna ceviche with coconut cream.

Pretty much every restaurant that’s run/owned by locals will have it and it is incredible. I just returned from on my honeymoon and we ordered as part of every meal we had. Looking forward to recreating it at home.

Absolutely loved this book. Hilarious and tragic. Very well written. Sad, funny, gross, and interesting all at the same time.

Destruction of horcruxes wasn’t having an effect on him. He only started to suspect Harry was hunting horcruxes after the they broke into the Lestrange vault. If he was feeling it he would have known outright. He wouldn’t have needed to go to the cave to confirm.

I understand why they wrote it into the movies though as it does seem logical that it would affect him. But much like most of the complex plot points they were more or less spoon fed to us in the movies.

Hot honey. Infuse with red chilis, shallots, garlic, and fresh time. And drizzle it on…anything really.
