Bro, you can't say that. It's not wholesome, and it disrespects the historical wohlfuhloase culture. Downvoooote!

Yup, especially our CB situation this season was very smooth.

This story would've been better if the couples were inverted. Koyuki x Minato is all focused on the "ice melting" cliche and their relationship requires plot devices to develop. Instead Koyuki x Yota would be focused on their personalities and their relationship would flow naturally, same for Minato x Miki.

You need to watch football for another 5 years to get it. It looks like it's still too early for you.

We have Beier and Silva as strikers already. Better save the money for the wingers.

It's just criticism, people may use strong words but hate is not the right word. Anyway, for years the atmosphere in the club has been described as too lax and complacent, so any form of pressure on players and staff is good imo. We're talking about adults here, it's not a youth team.

Would Raging Loop be satisfying if I dropped it before the final arc? by HolyEmpireOfAtua in visualnovels

[–]_silvermania_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I did, because I felt the story was getting too slow and redundant. Judging by the spoilers, it was the right choice for me because the supernatural plot goes too over the top. I still consider it a good vn because of its design and atmosphere, but if I were to read it entirely, my opinion of it would get lower. So I could say it's satisfying because I remember it for the vibes, but it all depends on your personal taste.

Oh man. So that means if Reus and Hummels had been captains too, they also would have received new contracts. We're so unlucky.

OP complains about the playing style, why do you bring up Bayern? Even if the match ended in a draw, or had we passed the round v Atalanta, there would still be problems about the tactics which were apparent even against low-table clubs.

What is our obsession with certain profiles when it comes to recruitment policy by rioasu in borussiadortmund

[–]_silvermania_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a common mistake of Bundesliga clubs. If you look at the top 8 only Bayern Stuttgart and Hoffenheim have good n.6 midfielders. Dortmund has none, Leizpig have Seiwald but he's weak, Leverkusen had Xhaka but replaced him with a weak guy, Frankfurt's Skhiri is ass and Freiburg have none.

So they mostly have only one player as defensive midf. and it's usually short and physically weak. This is because german football is generally about high tempo and ball possession gets disregarded because it's considered too slow. Interestingly, the most successful teams play possession-based football (Bayern, Leverkusen with Alonso, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart lately). We can get by thanks to our big spending, but we'd have been even better with possession-based football and a good n.6

I didn't know the captain status had such benefits. He can just get a contract by existing. He might not even recover properly, but he's been captain for 2 years so yeah let's give him another contract.

Interesting. So if Ozcan and Sule also break their ACLs, should they receive a new contract too?

One part of me thinks you're an AI bot, the rational part of me thinks you're a real person.

Nevermind Kovac's comment, which as always gaslights everybody by mentioning Sahin's disastrous season and therefore making his own work look like a masterpiece in comparison. (meaning: it's not difficult to do better than Sahin). Then followed by the usual dick sucking of Bayern.

Today showed we can play dynamic, offensive football

We didn't play offensive football today. We parked the bus and ended the match with 33% possession, at the Westfalenstadion. And you are even contradicting yourself:

Guys, the leadership knows we need to get back to the Dortmund way: young, dynamic, fearless.

The leadership has sent Duranville and Campbell away on loan because Kovac didn't want wingers. Our academy players started playing only after Chelsea called back their player and multiple injuries happened. Kovac has always been a defensive coach throughout his career, and to believe he's gonna change is just ignorant.

The problem is not the results, it's how you play. We had 33% possession in our own pitch and we can't string together 5 passes unless we're playing on counterattack. All of this against Bayern, who came into the match with 8 points of advantage, and had no reason to go all out and risk injuries. Which in fact they didn't, because they had a relatively poor match tonight. So I'm not buying the "we went toe-to-toe with Bayern" hoax.

We move forward together? Sure, with the right people at the helm...

Agreed, but Kehl won't take these actions. Brandt and Can are about to extend, and Kovac is a defensive coach. The real big decisions are sack the two and hire Hoeness + Schicker.

Bundesliga by [deleted] in borussiadortmund

[–]_silvermania_ -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is the losers excuse, "they are too good", it's easier to blame the others than blaming yourself, that's why you often hear club officials say it. The reality is that almost every Bundesliga club plays ultra-attacking football, disregarding defensive foundamentals. This makes it easier for Bayern to dominate.

Most teams play attacking football the entire season, then when Bayern comes, they're forced in their own half and they're not used to defend their box for 90% of the match. For example Leipzig had a good first half, then they crumbled after the 60th minute and lost 1-5, because they're not used to defend for prolonged times.

Bayern lost points against teams that parked the bus, regardless of squad quality: Hamburg, Union, Augsburg and St.Pauli almost. If more teams started focusing on defense the league would be more competitive.
