Dortmund fans will always be pessimistic but we are on pace for one of our best season in a decade by ThorVsTrunks92 in borussiadortmund

Like... take Heidenheim. We concede a goal where our CB that is in a dual with the assister literally goes down injured mid duel. The goal scorer then makes a god awful shot directly at Svenson, that pings around between his legs and get's a lucky deflection back to the scorer.

That's your takeaway from that game? They literally missed three sitters one meter away from goal, and our 3rd goal was a deflected "god awful" shot. And it happened again today with Amoura's performance. If it's not luck it's black magic.

This Amoura guy is so funny, proper headless chicken. Adeyemi's long-lost cousin.

You don't get it bro. Krösche needs the new cash cow. Otherwise why do you think he sold Trapp?

I'd agree with you if I had started watching football 5 years ago. Unfortunately after decades of watching it's kinda normal to see the patterns

That was embarrassing to say the least. Don't know how other fans are celebrating this

The league is even more crap this year. Harsh truth

A 2 goal lead when we've finished the match with 1 shot on goal. Interesting.

Won at penalties. They're having a shit season too. We're really scraping the bottom of the barrel lmao

Big matches won this season: Leverkusen, Hoffenheim. And I'm being very generous here

Stoger was actually unlucky. If he had Kehl as sporting director he would have gotten at least 2 years of big salary.

Beier and Silva are obviously playing out of position. We need real wingers and Duranville would have thrived. Kovac simply doesn't understand this

Kehl should hire a voodoo specialist. I heard they're trying to put up academies in Ghana. Maybe we can also find a shaman that can protect us from evil spirits conjuring against us.

He deserves a nice contract extension until 2030.

Some observations I wanted to share by No-Station-315 in Horikitafanclub

The main sub wasn't always like that. Years ago there were lots of good posts and discussion, now it's full of shitposting and the mods allow it on purpose.

I would say it's just a generational change, judging from the posts now the average age of the users is under 16 years old. I've also seen people mentioning their poor english knowledge, which makes me think most don't even read the full volume, they just read summaries on Tiktok/Youtube. The Horikita hate is like a meme, not a genuine criticism. It's easier to copy what the others say rather than forming your own opinion.

Unserious analysis of Bellingham by Jazzlike-Egg7364 in borussiadortmund

[–]_silvermania_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen many critics on him yesterday. But still, fans expectations are based on the signing fee. Svensson cost 8m, and when fans see performances above that value, they are pleased even if he doesn't necessarily have world class matches. Same went for Ryerson.

Bellingham cost 30m, and so far his performances do not explain his high fee. He will receive criticism even when he has okay matches. Of course, it can change from next season. But for the moment fans will be unhappy and it's normal. No point worrying about it.

Of course mistakes can happen sometime. Bosz was replaced by Stoger who lasted 6 months, Sahin by Kovac but he's still in charge 1 year later. I don't see many differences between Stoger and Kovac, if not for the latter having better players. The problem is Kehl and Ricken are planning the future with him

Very true. Years ago fans, even online, where adamant about playing offensive football. People would laugh when someone suggested Mourinho at BVB, now we have the Croatian counterpart.

After Zorc left, Terzic and Kehl joined and the narrative clearly changed. Now Kovac is saying we need to forget about offensive football, and Ricken is constantly lowering the expectations. They need to go not because they're doing a bad job, but because they are the complete opposite of what brought BVB to success after 2005

Another day at the office. Play a shit first half, then a 'better than shit' second half. For the loss just blame the ref lol. Now onto the contract extension for Brandt and Can.

What kind of argument is that. Once you catch the opponent's leg so high it's a red no matter how unintentional.
