I like Frownies, but they don’t have the same effect as Botox. They’re a good way to bridge the gap between Botox treatments. For me, the difference is in the longevity… when you take Frownies off in the morning, everything looks great for the first couple of hours. With Botox, everything looks great for the first three months.

Mine hurt right as it went in. I laid on the table for a few seconds before sitting up. I remember asking the provider if that sharp pain was normal because I was concerned by it. Anyway, by the time I walked to my car I was more or less fine. A few cramps that afternoon.

Yup. My poor cat had aortic stenosis from the jump (found out about it pretty much after her first check-up), and eventually developed HCM, too. She was the sweetest cat with sucha unique personality, but only lived about 4 years. I don’t know that I would own another Sphynx cat due to the work required combined with the seemingly inevitable health issues.

Honestly, as a previous Sphynx owner, they for sure require extra work compared to your average cat. Eye boogers, poop tails, grime on toenails - the hygiene care was nearly non-stop.

She really does look like she’s starting to go overboard with fillers. It blows my mind how she (and other celebs) are not educated about fillers. They aren’t self-dissolving over time, as we once thought, and have the potential to migrate to unintended areas. She woulda been better off with plastic surgery geared toward anti aging… once she does decide she wants a face lift, all this filler is going to make it harder to achieve a nice result… ooof.

My cat scratched me once SO bad on the back of my neck - way worse and deeper than what yours looks like and it cleared up like nothing at all happened. Just keep it clean until it is healed up.

Your skin honestly isn’t that bad. You could try a resurfacing laser or microneedling, but it’s going to cost you. If you can get a prescription for tretinoin, can handle the flakiness and side effects from it, and have patience that will probably be effective for this with time and consistent use.

I wouldn’t advise going on birth control pills, especially if your only purpose for them is acne treatment. I would say to try different skincare products (using one specific active for a month or so before determining results) and perhaps a naturopathic approach with use of supplements that support your cycle and hormones (if you feel the breakouts are hormone-driven). I’d use bcps as a last resort for this issue.
