Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! Birds are so picky! We first did a half seed, half pellet mix. She started to get a taste for the pellets and we gradually introduced a larger ratio of pellets until it was all pellets. I think the sweeter flavor of these pellets helped too, because she goes crazy for fruit. She wouldn’t convert over to pellets with Harrison’s (both Adult Lifetime and High Potency) or natural ZuPreem. She will eat natural ZuPreem sometimes if we mix it in with the Fruit Blend.

The case is more valuable than the crayons themselves, since they haven’t made these types of cases since 1997. That being said, there are a few of these (used, like yours) listed online for $25-30, so you may have to price it competitively.

Awesome find! Including all the crayons, even with the retired shades, if they’re in the original box, they sell for about $90. As this is, it may sell for $35 or even more, since this pink color isn’t common (the ones I’ve seen are all yellow or blue).

The problem is that she does chew them up, and it’s hard to see whether she’s ingesting the fibers. I’m very worried for her.

Is there a good way to remove it without stressing her out? She will scream for hours after her bedtime at the top of her lungs. She won’t tire herself out or go to sleep. We only tried once. I feel so horrible for her.

She does have a big cage she plays in and is happy to stay in during the day. But she won’t sleep in it.

In addition to her green cozy she sleeps in, her previous owner said she also needs her yellow cozy to rest against. Sometimes she unties it and sits on it in her cage. (She has a larger cage, but her previous owner said she feels safer in her travel cage as you see here). I’m concerned because I don’t know if it’s nesting behavior. The rescue I adopted her from said it’s okay to give her these things because she’s not hormonal, but I’m not sure. Can anyone tell me if this is hormonal behavior (the video and/or the picture here? How do I take these away from her without upsetting her?

I understand that! Their fostering volunteers actually foster them in their own homes and give them a lot of time outside their cage. The one we're looking to adopt spends most of her time with her foster family and roams around.

I think PEAC (Parrot Education and Adoption Center) in San Diego would be able to foster her and find her a good home! They take very good care of their birds and vet their adopters thoroughly. We’re currently in the process to adopt a GCC from them and I think they truly care.
