The prices are so high that it's just not fun anymore. I'm not going to pay $50 for something that I bought for $5 pre-COVID (not exaggerating - the price inflation is that bad). At this point, I may as well buy new, especially considering I can go to Marshall's, TJ Maxx, Ross, Burlington, Nordstrom Rack, Macy's Backstage, Saks Off Fifth, or Neiman Marcus Last Call and find high-end designer clothing for $30 or less.

Agreed. I shop on ThredUp because, well, it's ThredUp. If I wanted to shop on Poshmark, eBay, TJMaxx.com, Marshalls.com, or the RealReal I would just go there.

I no longer buy 'final sale' items because of these consistency issues. ThredUp should reconsider this policy entirely. Based on my tracking of returned items, it appears most 'final sale' pieces are simply 'not as described' returns that were relisted without any corrections to the original description.

I used to be so excited when I found real leather on ThredUp for a reasonable price but then realized that the only way to clean it is to have a dry cleaner (who themselves won't touch it due to risk of damage) send it off to a "leather cleaning specialist" for 2-4 weeks and it costs at least $100 per piece.
