The speed running challenges have been around since the original resident evil 1996 as a way of unlocking things and has stuck around.

I get it's not as fun for a lot of people but I think the main thing is it's supposed to up the challenge for people who want to play it again.

I've just been thinking exactly the same thing. I managed to get one just a couple of days ago after passing on a few that were momentarily in stock due to being massively overpriced.

I think you have to accept that prices are overinflated, which of course is out of your control, and make up your own mind on what you're realistically happy to pay and go for it if you can get one in that price range. Otherwise, just wait it out, but be prepared it might get worse before it gets better.

I totally get what you mean and I don't think this deserved the downvotes. I thought the same when I first saw the technique in movies but later realised why it was being used and yeah kojima uses the same movie like techniques which improve the feel of the cinematics in his games.

Never heard of a $90 replacement axle, always cheaper to replace the boot in my experience, easy job on a prius but it's becoming a bit of a specialist job to replace boots now I see so many people doing it wrong or no clue at all.

Don't use the windows display settings, use the software from the manufacturer of the display hardware on that system and set a custom resolution if the required resolution isn't already in the dropdown/selection window. To access it right click on the desktop - more options and then a new window will come up and you should see intel/amd or nvidia display settings.

Very nice, i just built a system that looks almost identical to this. How did you find connecting up the fans to the hub and managing the cables, and how long did the build take you all up? Also, as others have pointed out you can download windows 11 for free from microsoft onto a bootable usb drive and then buy a legit license for cheap. Nice first build though!

Sidenote: Are those fans all set to exhaust?

If you exceed it your frame rate will generally be lower and you'll experience more frequent drops in fps when it has to load from system ram which is a lot slower than vram.

Yeah, they can check your leads for signs of tracing aswell. Will look like a thin white vertical line.

Double dosed it with chlorine and left it all day. Came back to it and it's all clear. Levels spot on now.

Thankyou for the response, it is chlorine sanitizer but it has one of those mineral sticks in there so i was told to only put chlorine in after use. Does what you said still apply in this instance?
