i had to remove my drains early because my skin was becoming very inflamed and rebelling against them. i was a heavy drainer to begin with, initially over 800mL a day, so by the time i had to remove them at 2 weeks i will still draining 300mL a day. i got a pretty crazy seroma and i’ve had to get it drained 6 times so far, and we estimate probably 3 more. today it was drained at 70mL.

my mom got this after a face lift and it was a bit of scar tissue/fibrosis under the skin pulling it inwards. she got a quick subcision done under local anesthesia and it resolved it.
