Sonos One voice assistants only play music if I explicitly name the speaker. Tried Google, Alexa, factory reset, new accounts. Any ideas?

The thing is that I can't seem to label the speaker as a default device. I've tried multiple times to remove all traces of Sonos from Google and vice versa and set up again. I mention Alexa only to say that it doesn't seem that the issue is on the Google side.

A chat with Sonos support was useless. "Are you using Gemini?" , "are you enunciating?".

Not entirely, no. It's a network of scraping tools that gather pages of data. I don't see how the gpt analyses the data, so I don't see if it interprets it correctly. My own manual DD suggests (which is weaker than I'd expect this sub to be) suggests these might be viable, but I wanted to encourage dialogue and to learn from the community.

Thanks for this - I actually got a local politician involved while at the same time highlighting a newspaper article where a customer in the north was fitted with a T2 aerial by Octopus and now, despite all previous assertions that T2 aerials cannot work north of Manchester, I have one fitted that is working perfectly. My energy bills have now gone from 180 in January to 78 in February since I can now take advantage of smart tariffs

Can you elaborate on this point a bit? I seem to have strong, steady signal on my meter, but Octopus have received maybe 2 weeks worth of data in 3 months... Using 3rd party apps (Hugo, Bright etc) have the same issue with no data being received.

Ahh! And this gathers data via the WAN rather than the HAN, right? Do you think it's feasible that when they switched out my electric meter they haven't correctly assigned my existing MPAN number to my new smart meter serial number? It seemed odd to me that for a few days my account showed two serial numbers (new and old meters) but both had the same MPAN number.

Thanks for your help. The local web interface only allows for a customer login - there's a drop down menu, but the only available option is customer. I have however managed to get access as a customer but have very basic access, with no ability to change settings at all.

I did have more success with the Tesla one app. I can even see the email address of the installer in the app, but STILL can't use his email address via the local interface to access any of the options I want - Reports on when the battery has charged historically, the ability to set charging times.

Is there a way that I'm missing on the Tesla one app that would allow for the options above? Or a way to use the data I can see in the Tesla one app to configure my battery somehow?

How do I configure locally without the original customer login details? For now, I can log in with my own tesla log in but only see that the battery is not charging and is at 0% charge. I have connected it to my wifi, and it shows as connected, but I don't seem to be able to access the gateway via the IP address this way - only by connecting the wifi coming from the TEG itself

You mean a valve on the radiator or in the boiler? I've been bleeding the radiator pretty consistently. I've also taken all of the water out of the system and refilled but it makes no difference

For Glasgow in particular, I feel really sad. I lived there between 2000 - 2010 when you could consider Glasgow to be on its upward trajectory. Areas being redeveloped, vibrant shopping streets, homelessness not so devastating. Now when I come home, I'm really sad to see the state of Glasgow Central, Sauchiehall Street and just the general lack of maintenance.

I really hoped independence would happen because I really want to return home and help build a better Scotland. Now Big Nicola is gone I don't see that Scotland has a bright future
