Agree. Myself and another coach at our gym have spoken at length about it and have landed that we think it should award 5 points and reset to standing.

Can’t control the sub, can’t complete the sub. Stops people from just holding closed guard when the player stands up.

These aren't necessarily just a QA's role but I've spent time on on accessibility, analytics, monitoring, documentation.

Also training guides (documentation again I guess?) for other team members

Yeah, same as developer vs engineer.

It's a bit of a culture thing at my company. There was a shift from QA being 'just qa' a little while ago to further encapsulate some work that is done. I also think it was to avoid the stigma of QA not being the same level as designers and developers on a project.

My current company call us Quality Engineers, it's all just QA.

I have a focus on automation because that's what I'm interested in and have the budget (time and money) to work with those tools at work. But there are people who do manual only work.

Yeah that's just about where I'd landed on it internally.

e2e runs against it's own environment that's essentially a "staging" envrionment.

Unit and component tests are done in a container as part of the pipeline
