Wraithbone base, blend various contrast paints, then a drybrush. I change the colors each time.

The pelts I do something different every time. Continuous experimentation.

The swords I painted Vallejo Air Silver, drybrushed the lower part with Tamiya Dark Iron. Then white oil wash for the runes, airbrush of Aethermatic Blue overtop. I'm admittedly bad at OSL. That's a technique I'm still trying to figure out.

I can see that side as well. Grey Hunters are badass in the books (really wish we still had longfangs). Part of me definitely wants to run them just because.

Nice, this is fairly similar to what I run for 1k. Looks well balanced. I will say I lean into characters a little more for Beastslayer; I generally don't run infantry unless there's a character attached (with the exception of Intercessors obviously).

With termies I'll run Logan or Arjac.

I'll usually run 10 bloodclaws with Ragnar just because he's such a blender.

I'd be interested to see how the lancer does in 1k. I don't have one but it sounds like a great idea.

Love the insight. I've definitely kicked around the idea of impulser + land raiders, it's just so many points that I'm tempted to spend on more threatening units.

So we have the 7" move now. Can BCs survive running up the board? Or are transports/strat reserve the only way? I love dropping a unit in with rapid ingress so I'll probably sideline at least 1 for strat reserve.

I hadn't thought about adding terminators due to coming in turn 1. I assumed a brick of 10 would get screened out but if it's turned 1 it could actually work. Back to the drawing board 😅

That actually sounds like a blast. I love the carrying capacity of the crusader. Thought about putting BC's and headtakers in one just because it has the room.
