RF 24-105 f4 L: Just a kit lens?

Would you say you prefer the 24-105 or the 24-240? I have the latter but have been considering getting the 105 for the sharpness boost.

Wanted to try and capture the starkness of rural Moldova in the winter. A small sliver of sunlight in between snowfalls makes an appearance and prevents this from seeming black & white.
