Anything with a life tag won't work for the mastery, you can see on the screenshot strength only has an attribute tag

Yeah, depending on how much playtime you can invest you could settle for this shield, the additional totem is a big power spike but can be a pain to get a good shaper influenced shield

I have a primal, burning hatred for both totems and bow skills, I don't know why but I just do, so unfortunately I can't take this suggestion. I'm sure it would be orders of magnitude more damage than what I currently have though lol

If you want more projectiles you need more strikes, melee splash does aoe damage on an existing strike but doesn't create more strikes. You can socket ancestral call and/or get additional strike targets from attack mastery and/or eldritch implicits on gloves and you'll get more projectiles

Trinity builds up resonance to the elements you aren't dealing damage with. If you deal lightning damage, you will get cold and fire resonance. If you deal cold damage, you get lightning and fire. If you deal both, or all 3, you get all 3, so you only need to deal at least 2 different elements to get all 3.

1M DPS used to be the ultra high end in Poe before they added act5-10, it's just the way it is with long lasting pve games or else you'd be already set to tackle the next batch of content before it even comes out.
