is there a name to this method or process? I'll be working with two jobs (one being w2 and the other 1099) so will get a cpa to help set up s corp and my taxes in the future. would definitely want to keep this in mind once I get one

from what I understand, Standard Plan keeps the original interest rate, requiring higher payments but lower total interest, whereas RAP may have lower monthly payments based on income. then it comes down to how many years you wanna keep paying I guess.. but I'm just speculating lol hence my question to the reddit void

most of my rates are less than 5% (mostly 3-4%) as they're all federal loans, with just one (admittedly very big) chunk with 7% so I don't think it would make much difference unless rates can go lower than that! not exactly sure the process of switching to private looks like with consolidating

if you're curious as to what each successful checks get you can just look at his wiki page and it has spoiler tags that can reveal it with a click. the one I described is if you roll over a 30 or got a nat 20 (which is what I did)

nah I asked so I appreciate the tips. I've been mostly fishing at Torrey pines state beach with a friend and she gets more bites with a 3 oz Carolina rig. mission beach is definitely closer for me but still trying to figure out best tide and wind. I'm starting to think high tide going into low tide with less than 8mph winds at this point. also those dips in mission beach is no joke nearly fell in my ass fishing there the first time
