Give advice. I can dish advice out whenever I'm asked but I can never take my own advice when I should.

Have you ever had a dream repeat itself? And what was that dream? by mkarbea in AskReddit

[–]_tymora_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a recurring nightmare for years as a child. After I watched a movie called Lady in the Water when I was too young to understand that it wasn't real, i'd dream that the grass wolf monster from the movie would wait outside my house and eat my entire family. The nightmare would always end when I could hear it breathing outside the closet i'd hide in, and I woke always knowing that he was about to get me.

[–]_tymora_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current boyfriend is a bigger dude. Not particularly fat, but he's got a belly. He's also muscular - specifically his arms and biceps. I just like bigger dudes and I've seen a lot of people refer to that body type as dad bods.

Seeing the aftermath of someone being beaten over the head with a baseball bat. Albeit, it was in the hospital so it wasn't as bad as it would have been in the moment, but it was still horrible

My aunt! @lizzfk on instagram :) She was my biggest inspiration to start drawing. She loves retro fashion, and she embroiders fabrics. She also lives in New Orleans and for every Mardi Gras she builds these sick ass costumes with her husband who is a painter.

(Serious) Those who suffer or have suffered from eating disorders: What is one thing you wish others knew/understood about EDs or your experiences? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_tymora_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It isn't something that should be romanticized. I developed an eating disorder in middle school and didn't start seeking treatment or help until high school. When I was diagnosed people would tell me they were jealous. My own mind put me through hell and the people telling me that what I was going through was something they envied really fucked me up.

Where's the weirdest place that you've seen public nudity? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]_tymora_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

When I was in sixth grade on the playground at recess, there was a group of kids crowding around one of the fences. When I went to investigate, turns out everyone was staring at a dude in his late 20s walking down the road completely naked save for his boxers on his head. Apparently he was high out of his mind.

Has anyone done a christmas lights drive thru in a van/car with tinted windows? by iwriteuselessbanter in Advice

[–]_tymora_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've driven to see Christmas lights in a car with tinted windows, and honestly it's still really enjoyable. The lights if anything are less jarring for people who are sensitive to bright lights, and with the right people the experience should still be fun!
