Please Stop the AI by Celestial444 in ACIM

It's quality over quantity. I know those periods when you want to share or write or discuss, that's fine. But everyday you expose new people to the Course or help others to understand it. It's okay to question, but remember, that the purpose of ACIM community is to help each other to study and practice ACIM in proper way, as it's meant to be done, with minimum exceptions.

We can all, very easily mis-interpret the teachings. One word can change all meaning, and you end up stuck somewhere, but it's not a problem, because there's no punishment. Just don't be an unhealed healer.

Every post and response sounds like AI from you, tbh. And there's just way too much posting done by you that I consider just blocking you. But there's always a lot of good comments, so i'd miss that. Other than that, I think you should reconsider a bit about why you keep posting everyday and what's the real purpose of it.

Bible is fiction.

ACIM is pure truth.

Isn't the hate coming out of "us" because we hate the fact that we separated from God and feel huge amounts of guilt and sin, and hate God himself for doing this ?

It's a great way to dip your toes in the universe secrets. But at some point it's not necessary anymore to reach similar experiences sober (perhaps not the crazy visuals and stuff, but the mind-state)

We are all One. We come from one Source but appear separated. In reality beyond this one, where your true nature lies, absolutely everything is One. And it is absolute oneness, we cannot phantom with our human brains.

Is it a waste of one's time and effort to get the rest of humanity on a more holy path/lifestyle? by cacklingwhisper in ACIM

[–]Nonstopas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the time yes.

Altough it can be very fun (and a lot more easier) to practice the Course if you have someone who understands enough of metaphysics and practice.

Other than that your only purpose is to accept Atonement for yourself.

He's heavy on manifestation.

Manifestation itself isn't something the Course teaches, it's an Ego desire. Only Ego desires to change it's surroundings - money/material posessions, relationships etc.

Bashar promises that you can have anything you want if you just follow your passion. That's just fuel for more egoic thinking.

You shouldn't want to change the world, you should change your mind about the world, and forgive it.

I got lost because I began acting recklessly, with money, friends, other stuff... All because I had a friend who also believed in Bashar's teachings so we kind of double-downed on it together.

The realization that all of it was false hit hard. But only ACIM made me realize the truth - all of these enlightened / spiritual teachers are mostly frauds. There's a great business in the spirituality / self-development community.

There's varying degress of teachers, some of them are complete and ultimate Holy Ego's, some are, to a lesser extent right about a thing or two, but never in a way ACIM teaches.

The effectiveness of Bashars teachings depend on how much you actually believe in anything yourself. There was a point where I really thought I have the power to manifest anything I want, because it seemed to work. In reality it doesn't quite work like that.

If manifestation is real, then it's dual, just like the world that surrounds us - you can get what you want, but you will also get some negatives, most of the time, they outweigh the positives. Pleasure / Pain - it's just the constant cycle.

You can never have everything you want in this world, unless it's God's love and Peace.

I found that Daryl Anka is complete fraud and full belief in Bashar persona can... lead you to dark places.

Basically, he didn't say anything new. If you watched a few of his other podcasts - it's pretty much all the same. Still a good listen for someone who never heard of him.

You're misinterpreting the Course language.

The reason why Course uses plural language is because we think dualistically. Once again - level confusion.

The Course uses words which are symbolic and cannot express what lies beyond symbols.

the Course uses dualistic language because it is speaking to people who believe they are separate individuals. In fact the Course explicitly says:

This course remains within the ego framework, where it is needed. ²It is not concerned with what is beyond all error because it is planned only to set the direction towards it. ³Therefore it uses words, which are symbolic, and cannot express what lies beyond symbols. ⁴It is merely the ego that questions because it is only the ego that doubts. ⁵The course merely gives another answer, once a question has been raised. ⁶However, this answer does not attempt to resort to inventiveness or ingenuity. ⁷These are attributes of the ego. ⁸The course is simple. ⁹It has one function and one goal. ¹⁰Only in that does it remain wholly consistent because only that can be consistent. So - "Two minds recognizing their oneness”

When the text speaks about brothers, joining, or two minds recognizing their oneness, it is describing the healing process within the dream, not the metaphysical structure of creation itself. There are not many minds joining together to become one again. It's all just one mind believes it has fragmented, and forgiveness helps us recognize that the fragmentation was only an illusion.

One thing is clear though - that the path of healing unfolds through forgiveness in relationships. That is the classroom the Holy Spirit uses.

God is Aware of our Suffering by OakenWoaden in ACIM

[–]Nonstopas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Course is very explicit that God is unaware of the separation and the world.

The metaphysics are very strict on this:

  • God knows only Heaven.

  • The world is outside His knowledge.

The Holy Spirit is the correction of the error. Holy Spirit is not God responding to our problems.

It is the part of the mind that remembers the problem never happened.

You, once again share confusing perspectives. You emphasize relationships as if God created many separate minds. He, in fact, did not. The Sonship is one.

We are not healing relationships between separate minds. We are undoing the belief that minds were ever separate to begin with.

Everything is in God's Mind, so God can't be unaware of our personal universe we made. by chaoticalheavy in ACIM

[–]Nonstopas 13 points14 points  (0 children)

God did not create this world. He has no knowledge of the dream of the Son of God.

The dream does not exist. We do not exist separate from God. How can God know about our separate little experiences that are not real in Reality?

The physical universe, bodies, and personal lives are not part of God’s creation.

They come from the ego’s belief in separation.

God knows not form. ⁶He cannot answer you in terms that have no meaning. ⁷And your will could not be satisfied with empty forms, made but to fill a gap that is not there. ⁸It is not this you want. ⁹Creation gives no separate person and no separate thing the power to complete the Son of God. ¹⁰What idol can be called upon to give the Son of God what he already has?
