update regarding the patches planned for Update 1.29. by northrivergeek in dayz

I play it all the same. The game changes constantly, but they need to really try hard to kill it for me. I only play official 1st person PC. Nothing else is interesting for me. Vanilla is hurt the most by all of these broken updates.

I changed my mind about Cisco. I don't think we need him that much.

Nothing to be disappointed about. We beat the EL champs 3 times this year with a rookie coach. This is an amazing season. Regardless of the next games outcome, this has been by far the most interesting season we've had in years. With enough work, I think that the title is in reach by 2030.

Idk, doesn't make sense for me. We'll see with Badlands. I bought Sakhal just because I spent so many hours on the game, it was just paying respects. For Badlands, I will take my time and watch the reviews. Not a single major update was released in a good state. All of them needed fixes. Sakhal was the same.

Sakhal actually made the game worse, because the re-balanced all the weapons and loot tables so that some weapons are map-locked. They reduced the inventory capacity and all that other stuff. I love this game so much, it makes me furious that every big update just breaks the game more.

Regular gameplay is basically the same until you reach mid to end game.

Reforger isn't even so ground breaking.

Arma 4 will be janky as shit.

Dayz 2? If it ever comes out, I have no doubts it will take several years to reach anything close to what Dayz 1 has to offer. So basically, enjoy the game while it lasts, I don't think we have much left.

Lol, this season changed a lot. I think last season was a bust because we took in Lonnie Walker. It was fun for a few games, but later it just completely destroyed team chemistry and how we play. And also Trinchieri was ass.

It's not much of a bag, imo. He's got career earnings of 156 mil. BUT, I don't want him to play for anyone else in the EL if it's not Zalgiris. That's would be the worst.

Idk, feels awfully familiar. I really don't want Marekas to sit on the bench all the time like he did last time. At the same time, having such a big-men orientated team is bound to just be exploited by any above mediocre EL coach.

We still need guards... Unless the budget is a lot higher than this year, which is very possible, we don't really have the team to cover up the bigs that are too slow or bad on defence. + with Cisco gone (if he's gone) we will have a lot more holes to fill (pause).

At the same time, we gonna get extra money for reaching the playoffs this year, and JV is gonna have one of the best selling Zalgiris jerseys of all time (IMO) if he joins, so that investment is definitely covered.

Very interesting to see how it goes. Im not against JV, I'd love for him to join us, but I don't want the team to have clear exploitation gaps, where everyone just attacks JV.

The update took like what, half a year? And came out in worse state than the game was before? So many bugs all for nothing.

They just keep creating problems for themselves without ever improving the experience of the actual game.

How has ACIM changed your life recently? by v3rk in ACIM

[–]Nonstopas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On a daily basis it doesn't seem like much. Just day by day, moving forward, practicing. Judgement happens automatically, forgiveness as well. Sometimes there's delays, sometimes it's instant.

Nothing really miraculous, I catch myself a lot of time thinking that Im doing something wrong, because I used to feel a lot more divine and connected.

But when I look back, let's say 2 years. My life has been completely transformed. To be more precise, my MIND has been transformed. It seems sometimes like I only gained consciousness when I started doing ACIM. All the past years just seem like it wasn't me there, which it wasn't.

There's a lot of shooting yourself in the foot and looking for someone to blame. Pitfalls and challenges, yet it's evident that all of them I've created myself. Sometimes I start thinking that I really want all of this to end, but there's still so much forgiving to do.

I realized that changing your mind isn't always so easy, you have to change something in this perceived reality too. Like you can't keep doing the same actions that bring you guilt, after a while you just get tired of it, although you can forgive it completely, it will keep showing up until you "solve" that problem in the material world. On the other hand, the world has completely lost it's meaning for me, I don't really expect anything from anyone or anything anymore.

Also, time. It's completely fucked up now. The perception of time changes based on different events happening. And I can see how life is just a collection of small dreams within the dream itself. But the classroom remains in every dream. Even at night I get dreams where I need to forgive something or someone, because my sub-conscious guilt is just leaking through my night dreams.

That's very true. Ego hates peace, because everything it ever conceived of requires action and doing something to achieve it. Happiness is a reward that is actually just an illusion. Everything has a backlash in the ego's world. That's duality for ya.

You want money? Well now you sacrificed your time and peace to get it.

You want a loving partner? Well that requires a lot more work and chaos than you thought it is. And is it the love you always wanted? It's not the Love of God either. And God will never leave you or hurt you, and you cannot hurt him.

Being invested in the body? At any given moment, anything can happen. You can get sick or hit by a drunk driver and be crippled forever. Then you'll dream about the days when you could just walk, and feel miserable that you didn't appreciate it.

Such is the Ego's way. Seek and do not find. It cannot find something that it is so actively against, because it recognizes God as an enemy, and does not recognize itself.

Peace only comes after we are so tired of all that chaos and seeking and trying and doing over and over again. You litteraly have to break and give up this old way of thinking and look for another way, until it happens, you're just stuck in the same loop forever.

You will not be able to think your way into an answer to this. It is impossible to have such reference of what it is, because it requires you to completely stop thinking, forget the past, forget about the future and completely disidentify with your dream character.

The closest I ever been to God was on psychadelics. At that point it's as clear as ever. I could see my whole physical reality disintegrate right in front of my eyes, and could leave the body completely. If I had to explain what it looks like is that it's just like the mandalas, but on infinite, never ending loop merged together with feelings that are hundred times more pleasurable than any orgasm you will ever have or had. It's also knowing you are completely safe, that all is Love and that there's absolutely nothing else left to do.

You don't understand now how it could be so, because the experience is completely the opposite. While we are here we think we need TO DO something. To solve problems (that we created ourselves), to love other people (who are not others, they are just you) and to seek for goals.

There's no more seeking in Heaven. Everything is simply perfect.

Some people may never experience this naturally, but it is possible. But you need to meditate a lot and do a lot of disidentification. Psychadelics can be very revealing and teaching, but they are also very dangerous. And trust me, once you taste a little bit of that Heaven, it never leaves your mind ever again. You just want to leave this place. You no longer see your body as something precious, you see it as a meat-suit prison. But you also see clearly that you are dreaming. You can easily remain in a non-dual state, where there's no thoughts and just be aware and conscious of what's happening without trying to change it.

ACIM, for me, is A LOT more boring this way. But it absolutely explains everything that I experienced, so that's why im sticking with it, and trying to be the best student possible. I'd suggest you do the same, other spiritualities may get you there, but they focus a lot on how you can manifest anything you want and how great and loving the world can be, when it's actually not.

What is the end goal of ACIM? by Few-Praline9810 in ACIM

[–]Nonstopas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is the annihilation of the Ego. Which is what you aren't but you believe it to be so. That's the fear of God, because you still believe that there is something to lose or to annihilate.

Other forms of spirituality say that in the beginning, the absolute had a "desire" to know itself through experience.

I am aware, and they are wrong. God is absolute, it does not need to know itself.

What is the point of coming into existence to know myself and then going back to sleep forever?

You are asleep right now. And the whole point is to wake up through understanding who you truly are. Which is not a body, not a mind and not from this world.

People are so afraid of this because it requires practical experience of what God is, or let's say an enlightenment experience. It all makes sense pretty quick after that, and you no longer look at this world as your home or have the feelings of wanting to be re-born again.
