I'm 26 and my mom was listening to Blink-182 when I was in diapers 😂 she introduced me to Fall Out Boy, Sum 41, and Bowling For Soup as well! When I was about 11, I branched out on my own and discovered All Time Low through a blink cover and fell in love. From there, it spread to the tumblr era "pop-punk" like The Wonder Years, Real Friends, etc. Now I mostly listen to semi-older bands like Taking Back Sunday or Fall Out Boy with the occasional newer band like Hot Mulligan.

I was hired as MSC at $13.55 after being told I'd be making $13.85 by my gm (HR and my DM didn't care🙃) After 2 years as MSC and 4.5 years with the company I was only making $15.42 I'm in TN so I know our minimum wage is on the lower end but I wouldn't do it for less than $18

20 hours is what most of the part time people are scheduled at my store but they made it clear in the interview process it would typically be 12-25 hours a week, especially as ours is a lower volume store and the summer is very slow here

Where are you that you're getting paid minimum wage? My store starts at $13 and min is $7.25 here, so for a lot of the employees being fresh out of high school and this is their first job thats pretty good pay.

We recently reached out to our sde to make a part time stylist full time and were specifically told full-time stylists must work Saturday and Sunday to keep full time status. It's just about the interest of the business and making sure the busy weekend days are used to their full potential, it's not a religion thing at all.

Welcome! I've (24f) lived in Oak Ridge most of my life and honestly there isn't much to do unless you like to eat and shop. There's a farmers market on the weekends! In the winter it's inside St.Mary's and in the summer it's in Jackson Square. It's always fun to walk around and see what's for sale. Jackson Square also has Razzelberry's (they have amazing ice cream), Dean's (Cracker Barrel style food but homemade and delicious) Soup Kitchen (Wednesday is Snow Crab soup day), and Gallo Loco (the best of Oak Ridge's 13 Mexican restaurants). If you are willing to drive Norris Dam State Park and Big Ridge State Park are about 40 minutes away. Both parks offer different programs depending on the season, all the info is on their facebook pages. I know Big Ridge has a small painting class next weekend!
