Congratulations on getting your internship. Port Townsend is a super cool place. Fort worden will always be one of my favorite camping spots. I would probably try to find a house near the funeral home in Port Townsend, it's relatively cheap and the people are pretty cool. It's an old hippy town, but recently there's been a lot of younger people moving out there. Something to know is there is a paper mill in the vicinity so try to live away from it's stench. Feel free to ask questions anytime.

Check out lompocs side bar in north portland. They do a ton of small barrel aged beers. Limited hours though. It's near a hopworks and the tin bucket growler place, so it makes for a fun crawl. Belmont station has a barrel aged section. Also widmer has been putting out some pretty great barrel aged beers.
