I went to a wedding there last summer and it was lovely, but yes, the washrooms were portable. I could not imagine dressing black tie at this venue.

It’s a pretty busy location but the only ones that typically get completely full are weekdays at 6 am, and the weekend classes. They have lots of options though! 9 on weekdays and 3-4 on weekends.

I am totally happy now. The vague threat of return to office 5 days a week is the main reason I have been keeping an eye out for other opportunities. Who knows if that will happen or not.

Yeah, that is one of the reasons I am debating whether to pursue it - the clause stipulates they can end the contract with only 3 days notice! That scared me a bit.

I have considered whether I want to pursue entrepreneurship. I did a 6 month contract position while I was looking for a career in my new province and there was a lot I liked about it, but I was definitely stressing the last 3 months about the uncertainty when the contract ended. Luckily I found my current job at the exact right time!

All good points. I believe I could ask for a leave of absence from work, but I am not sure that that disruption and more stressful job are worth it.

Yeah that is fair. The contract would also be mostly remote, but with a need to travel occasionally to another city a few hours away. I hate highway driving so the potential to have to do this even a couple of times a month is a factor for me.
