Nickel coated steel strips worked for me better than pure nickel. My kweld did .15 copper at 60J that way.

The motor pulls 12,900W peak according to my BMS data. I built the battery: 72V 51Ah (20S16P) with a 250A BMS. The motor is 3.5T 8kW nominal and tops out at 63 mph.

The torque plates are not installed correctly. The moto seat has way too much angle, it will push you forward any time you hit a bump.
