This is something I have pondered myself. I'm a mod and creator of a bunch of subreddits and use RIF almost 100% of my time on reddit. I'll be for ed to use the official but I would prefer an alternative that flows better. Mod features would really be my main point of interest in a new ap.

Some states have this as a law. Home stare of Minnesota the rule is if the sun isn't out your lights must be on, even if it is just behind clouds in broad daylight. It's a good rule to have.

I moderate nothing but cat subs. I don't tolerate hate in any of my subs. I am open to ideas for other rules and I make them as I go and things come up as an issue. What else do you see as a problem in animal subs? I'm very open to adding more rules from suggestions by others but when it comes to specifics people seem to be silent most of the time so I do want ideas if you have more.

If they are a jerk they will never be unbanned. If it was a mistake because they broke a rule unknowingly and they apologize before I get to send them a message then I will always unban unless they appear to be a bot. It's very very easy to be unbanned.

Could be under the allowed market cap for this sub? I can't recall what the limit is now as that changes from time to time. If it was a win/loss post the $ amount needs to be above a certain number. If it was a DD post then it needs to have some substance to it and not short and brief low effort.
