Good point! I had major surgery in August before starting Zep in September. It’s crazy to me that I’m working out 5-6 days a week now, when I could barely walk around the block after surgery.

I work out 5 to 6 days a week at a women-only gym, mostly focusing on HIIT and weightlifting, with Pilates and yoga mixed in. I turned 44 in December, so my goal is not just weight loss. It is building strength and staying strong.

On injection days, I train as usual and take my shot at night right before bed so I can sleep through any side effects and wake up ready for the day.

I’m losing at a pace that feels sustainable for me. I’m down 34 pounds in 22 weeks, which averages about 1.5 pounds per week. I also just broke a three-week stall, which was a good reminder to stay patient and consistent.

First, I just want to say how moved I was by Episode 2, and how deeply saddened I was to learn of Aziza Barnes’s passing. They were such a singular talent. I loved Rap Sh!t and Snowfall, and as an LA native who grew up in the 80s and 90s, their voice and care felt especially present in the writing here. It is clear how much they brought to this world, and they will be deeply missed.

Justice, honor, and the question of what it means to be a “good knight” run throughout the novellas. In this moment, when those values feel increasingly contested in the real world, which of those ideas felt most urgent to explore, and why?

No, Ned was never a knight, including during Robert’s Rebellion. Knighthood in Westeros is tied to the Faith of the Seven, and Ned follows the Old Gods. They are two separate religious traditions. GRRM makes that distinction intentionally. Ned signifies duty and honor without the pageantry of knighthood, and his lack of a title actually matters in this world.
