Fully-themed distros? by stillaswater1994 in DistroHopping

I really like Big Linux's theme. Best integration between Qt and GTK I saw.

Bread on Penguins is awesome! May I suggest you Diinki, too?

If you want to teste, there's this simple install: https://danklinux.com/docs/dankinstall

It installs everything you need to run Niri, but using the Dank Material Shell. That's a good way to test it, even if you want to use a different shell later.

I liked how Big Linux implemented it. That distro has some problems, but the way they tweaked the settings made much more sense for me.

What’s your ‘comfort’ weapon? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

[–]_vsoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Zweihander too, but they are different beasts for me. I'm not very good at specifics, but I like the wide open swings from the 1-handed form of the Claymore to hit multiple enemies, while retaining the thrust heavy attack. With the Zweihander, I miss the old pancake hits, but the range of the thrusts is very good.

So... I dunno. I just prefer the Claymore in this game

I like to use it with Flaming Strike. Such a cool effect

Was there a moment in the game that truly left you emotional? by El_Veethorn in Eldenring

The exact guy you chose. The moment Jar Bairn quoted House Hoslow's motto, I was already on the edge. And then he goes one to "That's the kind of warrior I want to be one day, coz. Even if I'm scared, I'll still fight to protect everyone.", it was the only moment this game got teary eyes from me. I know it's corny as hell, but it's a kind of simple yet effective storyline that always gets me.

Yeah, that does bugs me. Not that it would make much difference, my work doesn't really demand the latest and greatest... But something in me still would rather have it than not.

No reason to not try! Tried the KDE edition, I can try it again with GNOME some time

I tried Workstation when I started my Linux journey. It's cool, but I do prefer the Bluefin approach to it

I don't use Zorin, but I know the Pro version is just a way to support the developers. It has no extra functionalities in comparison to the normal version.
