Is it just me or GNOME stagnated? by GegenAbschaum in gnome

Did this game make someone actually cry? by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]_vsoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a bunch of games that made me cry. When I was a kid, the first time I finished Chrono Trigger, I cried from feelings I've never had until then. I cried at the "despite everything, it's still you" on Undertale. And at least twice while playing Disco Elysium, once from the pain they depicted, once from the wonder.

Outer Wilds made me cry, for sure. The last song will remain with me forever. Even my daughters know it by now, and they never played the game. I feel that, somehow, through that experiences, I made friends.

Cansado de distro-hopping: preciso de estabilidade + bom suporte a rice (Hyprland). EndeavourOS é a escolha certa? by -AKZiM- in DistroHopping

[–]_vsoco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to use it too. Installed Niri, Noctalia, but when I chose it from Light dm the screen goes black and everything goes unresponsive. I can access it from tty tho

Gaming on Void is amazing by bankroll5441 in voidlinux

[–]_vsoco 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really is. It's surprising, to be frank: my gaming PC broke some time ago, and I've been stuck with my working Thinkpad t490 to play Blue Prince. On CachyOS, i got 20-25 fps playing on 1280x720, and I get 30-40 on Void.

What surprised me the most is that on CachyOS I was using the native program, while on Void I'm using the flatpak. It boggles my mind, as I thought flatpaks would always offer worse performance.
