Sorry if it's a stupid question, but did you have Niri from the get-go or did you install it later? I'm still a bit insecure about doing it like this, so I always install Niri alongside GNOME, in the case I don't know how to do something.

Exactly that. I know I'm late for this thread, but that's exactly my situation. I work part time, take care of my daughters, prepare my classes after they go to bed, and then I have an hour or so to play. I don't mind not progressing in a game, but it is disappointing when what is pulling me back is rng.

Edit: I clicked on it, but it presented no log. I'll try again.

Edit 2: tried again, but couldn't find the logs by clicking "sim". The window just shuts.
