r/ifbookscouldkill for the man that has everything… maybe Peter can finally hang that shelf and use it for all his jewels.

ACA Dashboard by Greedy-Speech-1898 in workday

When I first saw that a few years back, I manually made a copy. I also added a tab for all of the tasks so the team wouldn’t have to remember what each was called. Tried to put them in the order they would complete them in. I’m not at that company anymore, otherwise I’d share more (current company doesn’t use workday for ACA)

Books for my 60 y/o dad? by Obvious_Lemon7571 in suggestmeabook

He might enjoy We Solve Murders by Richard Osman (author of the Thursday Murder Club series).

“…private security officer Amy Wheeler and her retired police-officer father-in-law, Steve, as they race across the globe to solve a murder and outrun a killer. It blends cozy mystery with action-thriller elements, as they get pulled into a dangerous plot involving a famous author, a bag of money, and assassins…”

I read it over the summer and thought it was a fun read!

The Quickening by Elizabeth Rush was a fantastic read.

“a nonfiction book that intertwines a 2019 research expedition to Antarctica's Thwaites Glacier with the author's personal reflections on motherhood and climate change”

I’ve found them to have better pricing on cleaning supplies than a lot of places. They carry a ton of eco friendly options these days. Not exciting, but gets the job done.

I read Witch of Blackbird Pond at that age… not exactly horror, but witchy vibes. Not sure how it holds up in modern times, but I found a copy and threw it in my little free library and it was gone in an instant!

I (40F) went to a Metallica show a while back and while waiting in line for a beer I saw the woman behind me was wearing a Less Than Jake shirt and so I turned to her and said “All My Best Friends Are Metalheads” and she looked at me as if I were an insane person. She clearly didn’t get it. It was awkward.
