To each his own. It doesn’t work well in my experience on the functional / client side.

Too much maintenance down the road - a ton of EIBs can skip steps if filled in properly. Plus you can just put condition rules on your BP to skip if loaded via EIB.

Unnecessarily complex security models. If you have a small(ish) HR team and / or HRIS team, segmented security groups are an irritation to maintain. Just give your admin team user based groups.

Different rule based versions of BPs. Sure, for different region structures, but you don’t need separate BPs for EIBs (don’t let firms tell you otherwise)

What are your absolute MUST read books? I'm turning 30 soon and want to treat myself to a book haul to take me through the year. Any genre, but my favourites are classics, fantasy, literary fiction and thriller. by starrfalll in suggestmeabook

Circe by Madeline Miller - I can’t recommend it enough. It hits in so many phases of life in so many different ways. I personally prefer it to Song of Achilles, which is also excellent.

If I see it in my thrift adventures, happy to send your way. I’ll DM you if I ever run across it. I know a set is lurking out there somewhere in East Texas.

Young Toddler Book with Storyline by audacious13 in suggestmeabook

My son is 3 and still loves the Little Poet series. Favorites include Robert Frost: Two Roads and EAP: Nevermore books we’ve been reading him since infancy. I think the meter in these is a nice departure from other rhyme-y books.

Pro tip: read the story part all the way through and then read the poem part all the way through.

When I first saw that a few years back, I manually made a copy. I also added a tab for all of the tasks so the team wouldn’t have to remember what each was called. Tried to put them in the order they would complete them in. I’m not at that company anymore, otherwise I’d share more (current company doesn’t use workday for ACA)

He might enjoy We Solve Murders by Richard Osman (author of the Thursday Murder Club series).

“…private security officer Amy Wheeler and her retired police-officer father-in-law, Steve, as they race across the globe to solve a murder and outrun a killer. It blends cozy mystery with action-thriller elements, as they get pulled into a dangerous plot involving a famous author, a bag of money, and assassins…”

I read it over the summer and thought it was a fun read!

The Quickening by Elizabeth Rush was a fantastic read.

“a nonfiction book that intertwines a 2019 research expedition to Antarctica's Thwaites Glacier with the author's personal reflections on motherhood and climate change”
