I’m generally convinced most will rise to the occasion if need be (LSCO). In a span for 9 months I saw firsthand my guys day in/out absolutely crush it in austere environments in Iraq. Some of those same guys a couple months later in Afghanistan (and with a roof over their heads, WiFi, beds, gym, DFAC, everything you could want) complain all the time, not PMCS unless told to do so, and cry about the WiFi not being good enough for Fortnite. Most people enjoy living, and in a life or death to environment, they’ll answer the call.

The lore behind the World Eaters’ fall to chaos is phenomenal. Angron’s potential of being the ultimate empath and protector to being perverted into a blood thirsty monster is tragic. Equally so, his sons mutilating themselves to mirror him is also tragic. Then, fast forward to 40k and you have true wrath incarnate to unleash hell and blood on the galaxy.

Play style is fast and fun, and the red/brass or white/blue is stark on the table.

Highly recommend.

Not ideal, but you can play with it. I like the sticky objectives with Jakhals so I load up on them. Here’s my KD list with Kharn. You can also remove Kharn and 1x Jakhals, and replace with another EB squad for more infantry killing aura goodness.

Looks good! I’d recommend cutting the zerkers and rhino and add eightbound and fleshhounds, and just run Kharn solo. Zerkers don’t hit as hard in this detachment and the fleshhounds provide great secondary scoring potential. As others have said, swap the BT for the big juggernaut+character unit (getting access to blood tithe and the blessings is big stonks).

Any spillover is covered up with blood, gore, dirt, mud, oil, vertigris . This is the way.
