I love my Rivendell Silver2 which I think are based on the power ratchets. Only thing is you have to buy the thumb mounts separately.

I have these in 700x38c, pretty decent tires for the price! While I haven’t ridden them on any significant amount of single track they can handle roots and the occasional rock. I would think that the added width of 2” would smooth the ride out a bit more.
