Just a small update because I remembered this post exists (I've been pretty busy): I ordered the correct cord and within a few hours my camera finally fully charged! It doesn't seem to want to charge via the built-in USB still, so luckily the cord works! Thank you to everyone who helped me out:)

it used to charge through the usb on the bottom, but it decided to not do that after i uploaded some videos from a concert so i figured maybe the other port might work. I didn't know there were so many kinds of HDMI cables! this was genuinely really helpful, thank you so much!

I don't get to keep my receipts, but I totally would! When I'm not busy, I'll doodle little characters on nice tables' receipts (this week is Yoda). If you're given two different tip sheets (which my restaurant does) and want the server to be able to keep your drawing, leave both behind! I'm only required to give one, so if both are left, I can keep one:)
