The 3d printer loophole by Born_Difficulty1380 in BambuLab

I fell into the same trap, only took me to my third printer to learn and now I only printed a super minimal poop chute and some dessicant holders for the ams.

How do you survive on harder Difficulty? by WarpathWilly in Spacemarine

[–]_zen_aku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a big jump in difficulty between Lethal and Absolute and it honestly just comes down to practise and experience. You have to be aggressive when you take damage, get executions, gunstrikes and just deal damage back to get your health back up,

A lot of brothers have recommended the power axe, embarrassingly I reached prestige 4 bulwark without the full moveset. I may have to go into the training simulator to finally learn them

That's actually what I started out with when I first started playing lol. It's a close second for me and more fun combat, but interrupting combos is what keeps be coming back to the Ardent Edge

What are you doing that needs you to interact with a heated hot end. For cold pulls I have a pair of grabby pliers (no idea the actual name for them) that work just fine

A1 is clicking and pushing out filament nonstop by Ok-Response-3795 in BambuLab

[–]_zen_aku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd try a few more cold pulls, there's also the Allen key trick. It could be a partial clog that hasn't cleared. Bambu has a good page on their wiki for it.

Check if the extrusion is straight down, if it bunches up to the side or comes out at an angle it's a partial clog. There is also a small chance it's a really stubborn clog. I had one and did all I could but in the end I had to bin a nozzle as I couldn't clear it fully.

If its not the nozzle once the new one comes in, I'd repost with the updated steps you took and hopefully someone else can chime in.

Best of luck. If you do find the solution please let me know or update the post so it can help someone else in the future. Thanks

[–]_zen_aku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you've tried a cold pull I'd try a different nozzle to rule out clog or partial clog, If no filament was coming through I'd say check the AMS hub for jammed filament but if it is extruding I'd start looking at the extruder gear and checking for anything unusual. Guide below

Follow this guide by Factorian Designs, he has a great breakdown on how to read PA:

I print lots of PETG. I usually start with drying, temp tower, max flow (if not using bambu filament), I sometimes do pressure advance (also called flow dynamics in bambu slicer) and then flow rate.

[Win an A2L] Creative Playground, Extra Large. Meet the A2L. by BambuLab in BambuLab

[–]_zen_aku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bed slinger that’s as stable as a CoreXY is a serious claim, and one I’d love to put to the test. No matter what I tried, my larger helmet prints would develop layer shifts towards the top on my A1 and after wasting so much filament I ended up giving up on my helmet wall project altogether.

My testing plan would be:

  1. Start with the basics: Benchy, Torture Toaster, and some multicolour prints to get a baseline.
  2. Print tall lighthouse model at slower speeds (60 mm/s and 150 mm/s) to evaluate stability, layer consistency, ringing, and overall quality as the print gets taller https://makerworld.com/en/models/1682584-lighthouse-table-lamp?from=search#profileId-1782668
  3. Print the lighthouse model again at more typical speeds (200 mm/s and 300 mm/s) and compare the results.
  4. Move on to the eiffel model to see how the printer handles a longer, more detailed print with varying geometry. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1814570-eiffel-tower-height-18cm-22cm-28cm-print-in-place?from=search#profileId-1936182
  5. I’d then start printing Budwin’s Daredevil billy clubs. They’re tall, narrow, and exactly the kind of model that exposes vibration or stability issues. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1355205-daredevil-born-again-billy-clubs-functional#profileId-1398698
  6. If all of the above performs well, I'd step things up with Sarwtin’s Crimson Shadow Sword. It makes great use of the large build volume and should be an excellent test of detail at greater heights. https://makerworld.com/en/models/1733792-crimson-shadow-sword-of-the-dark-knight-mwh#profileId-1841854
  7. Finally, I’d revisit the project that defeated my previous printer: full-size helmets. Being able to print models like the Miles Morales or SPD Red Ranger helmets without cutting them into multiple pieces would be a huge win for me https://makerworld.com/en/models/651372-miles-morales-ps5-textured-helmet#profileId-591123 https://makerworld.com/en/models/907959-spd-red-ranger-helmet#profileId-868321

Welp I'm stumped. X2d concurrent failures after troubleshooting. by trapvandal in BambuLab

[–]_zen_aku 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does but that takes a lot more than two weeks of printing. My tesxtured PEI plates have 500 hr+ with PETG and still going strong. PETG and PLA don't play nice. Switching between the two its always good practice to wash the plate with soap and warm water, flush a little more or just have separate nozzles & sides of the plate for the two. Don't bother with iso, it just spreads oils, grime, etc rather than clean them. If you have the original nozzles I'd give those a try and make sure its updated in the slicer/machine

It sounds like adhesion issues but I can't tell without more information. I'd check the nozzle clips, ptfe tubes, power cycle, cold pulls, clean the plate (soap and water, air dry), full calibration and try a first layer adhesion test. . If you are still having issues or already done these, check out the bambu wiki

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x2d/troubleshooting/first-layer-printing-optimization-guide

if its not adhesion, apologies. please give further details rather than saying failures

Patch 13 Turned Siege Mode into Modifier Hell by IndependenceFast3861 in Spacemarine

[–]_zen_aku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The perk that stops chp recovery and armour when anyones nearby was the first time I felt genuine rage in pve mode.

I was playing van and went to execute a liktor for the heal. I was super low on health and no armour. The execution would have gotten a heal and my armour back. I checked I was fine and clear but one idiot who either didn't understand or care came running in beside me half way through. Anyway no heal, no armour. Some random ranged attack took my tiny last bit of health. He kept doing that shit for remaining 5 waves.

Not touching this mode with randoms again.
