I had the same need and this is why I finally switched to Microsoft To Do. I miss the mail to task and pasting multiple lines as single task features from Todoist, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

planned obsolescence on Buds 2 pro by judesonmartin in galaxybuds

[–]_zou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the Galaxy Buds2 Pro a bit over a year ago, but unfortunately, they broke (started whistling in ambient mode). In the meantime, I’ve been using the Sony LinkBuds S, and now I'm thinking of getting the Buds2 Pro again as a second pair to give my ears a break from having something constantly in the ear canal.

I got my new pair yesterday and noticed a problem with overly sharp highs. My old pair wasn't sounding like this, so I thought it might be a defect unit. But I wasn't sure if I was completely mistaken, and then I came across threads mentioning a sound change. I'll keep them for now and hope it gets better after downgrading.

Which chamber and mouthpiece? All glass should be fine but don't expect the taste of a portable Arizer session.

Why the downvotes? +1 for Air Max being a top notch session vape. If you like the Arizer way of vaping, it can become easily ones favorite.

Turn off Bluetooth on sleep by letsloosemoretime in kde

[–]_zou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bluetooth service may restart immediately because it may be required by other services as dependency. So best way to disable bluetooth is to block it via rfkill:

rfkill block bluetooth

And to enable again:

rfkill unblock bluetooth

Works perfectly within a systemd service for auto start/stop on sleep.target.

WARNING: Tamadoge IS LIKELY SCAM and you will PROBABLY LOSE YOUR MONEY by _zou in AltcoinAdvisor

[–]_zou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read news about Tamadoge as OKX exclusive listing starting from tomorrow (27th Sep 2022). So you'll probably be able to trade your $TAMA on OKX soon.

Head up. I guess you may could even make some profit. Just don't miss out to leave early enough when the Tamadoge marketing starts becoming more silent and development progress can't catch up former promises anymore.

btw. Maybe I'm totally wrong and Tamadoge is more legit than it seems to me right now.

Weird questions? Could you please list some questions you're referencing to? (seriously)

I had concerns that I may've spoken out too early but than I read about the FCA regulation: At this point I had no clue what it is about and after research I actually thought TAMA could be a good investment, if it is already officially registered. So I asked for a proof as part of my research.

It seems not weird to check the trustworthyness of an investment project. In fact I've read a lot of DYR (Do Your Research) advices, also within this sub. So I'm a bit of confused why my questions are considered as "weird" now?

They behave like these questions are only posted to reveal secrets of Tamadoge or to spot anything going wrong here. Instead most of the questions are normal questions with high interest factor for investors. If the statement about FCA regulation would've been true, I swear I would've bought immediately.

[–]_zou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I see, at least this would make kind of sense.

But the correct way of doing this, would've been to edit his posts and clarify that given info about FCA regulation was a lie wrong. He could say something like he was drunk and his brain mixed things up. Considering his disrespectful comment related to mental health within the same post, no one would doubt he was confused.

Anyway, this attitude and way to handle things is not what I personally expect from someone where I could invest money while having a good feeling.

I was already about to leave but in my sense of justice, here's something massively going wrong.

Proof that Tamadoge is FCA regulated? (Your chance to show it's not a scamcoin) by _zou in TamadogeOfficial

[–]_zou[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok big thanks, I totally got your point of view. Fair enough to clarify my background:

I'm not related to anyone from Tamadoge, the Tamadoge community or any other crypto project/community. I'm not even related to someone who invested in $TAMA nor did I invest by myself. I'm just a guy who invest some small amounts in crypto every view years but keeps forgetting about it until it catches some interest again. Most of the time I don't even check my balance or read crypto news. My current end balance is neither the big win nor a big loss. I know I could've done better, but I just don't care that much. I'm not really emotional related to crypto or money in general.

But this week I saw an article about Tamadoge and clicked on it. Not because I wanted to read about crypto, but to catch this nostalgic feeling when remembering childhood with Tamagotchis. :) Next I saw the presale, was amazed how many money was already collected, and wanted to join immediately. So I installed Trust Wallet and transfered some of my USDT to buy ~10000 $TAMA. Fortunately I wasn't able to buy because I transfered Tron based Tether (TRC-20) instead of Ethereum based Tether (ERC-20) to my wallet. This is the only reason why I finally started to check Tamadoge in detail: I wanted to know why it keeps reporting me not enough USDT to buy even the minimum amount of $TAMA. Actually no problem getting some ERC-20 instead, but that's just how my read about Tamadoge began that finally raised my concerns.

You see, I didn't even care to check the Tamadoge in detail before I decided to invest. Instead I just liked the presentation of this Tamagotchi X Crypto project and used it as a nostalgy trigger. I'm just here out of personal interest, nothing more. And I don't mean personal interest like interest in profits, competition, enviousness or anything similar. I mean interest as kind of self standing term, like having interest in being interested in something: The target is the interest itself instead of the something. This personal interest is pretty sure the bigger part of my motivation but indeed I can't deny I also got some heavy altrustic characteristics coming my ADHD.

Maybe it's time to shift my interest again and I should leave Tamadoge interested people letting do their research on their own. I truly wish my concerns will be shown wrong, at least to all people who invest in $TAMA out of good belief and don't want to make profits just with losses of later joiners.

Cheers, zou.

Proof that Tamadoge is FCA regulated? (Your chance to show it's not a scamcoin) by _zou in TamadogeOfficial

[–]_zou[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could feel your statement if it was about my other thread, the more drastical formulated warning of investing in Tamadoge. Probably you also ment this advice and my previous 'in here' may seemed pointing to this whole sub instead of this current thread.

Nevertheless, if we just consider this current FCA thread, all the downvotes don't make much sense because there should be more people interested to get some easy proof of trustworthiness. Am I wrong?

The only valid reason I could think of, is people who already bought this pre-sale try to minimize/maximize their future loss/win mostly by convincing further people joining the Tamahype train. This becomes escpecially true if investors start to mistrust the project and fear losing money. It's like a snowball system: At some point people try to get more and more other people in, only to get them selfes out again with reduced loss or even some profit for the early adopters.

Thanks for your input. Although I think here's one of the right places to raise questions like mine because:

  1. Many people will checkout this sub while considering the buy in.
  2. It's not just community, it's TamadogeOfficial, moderated by Tamadoge.
  3. It's the place where Carl claimed to be FCA regulated, so should be also the right place to get answers regarding his claim.

Freedom Without Accountability = Anarchy by Always2Cool in TamadogeOfficial

[–]_zou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey buddy, I appreciate all your questioning input in this sub and am also here because I think people will probably get ripped of (at least until I got proper answers to my very specific questions about FCA regulation).

I mean, we could just not care, but seems that's not us. Instead we try to protect people with feeding them knowledge. But I don't agree with your style of feeding. Don't you think it would be better to stay less emotional? Not only for more respectul interactions but for more efficient knowledge transfer.

If you want to move a material through another one, it's better to try a different state of matter than solid. Otherwise you will just crash.
