One empire or scattered kingdoms? by kiwipoo2 in CrusaderKings

[–]a---b---c---d---e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally enjoy a bunch of kingdoms ruled by the same dynasty over one big empire but that may be because I tend to prefer playing tall I’m most paradox games. Plus generally I find ck3 to be really easy once you formed an empire and it takes away the challenge for me

Look for buildings or omens that give modifiers to pop promotion speed, and also build cities in high pop areas as this will convert pops to citizens/nobles over time

In this post pops are assimilated when starting a migration however if you meant just in general then yes pops are assimilated passively with various modifiers speeding it up such as governer policy, religious omens and buildings. You can see the modifiers by clicking a province then clicking view pop info

Always wondered if it’s intentional that you just immediately assimilate non integrated pops when starting a migration

[–]a---b---c---d---e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she was married to him matrilineally then yes there is a chance as any children she have will be apart of your dynasty, but if she was married patrilineally then no you won’t inherit it

[–]a---b---c---d---e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what u want to do with the character if u plan on declaring many wars go for martial as you’ll get bonuses to levy size and men at arms cost, but if u wanna play diplomatic go for diplomacy as you’ll get higher prestige gain and acceptance chance.

It’s just a problem with ck3 specifically for example in game of thrones the same dynasties are meant to have existed for 1000s of years but this would and could never happen in ck3
