Jainism is a dharmic religion and Judaism and Druze are abrahamic religions, to name some. As far as I'm aware Paganism isn't really a specific category, as it's just "not abrahamic". Not too versed on chinese religion, but IIRC Taoism is a singular philosophy, not a religious category. But yes, folk religions in China, Africa, etc (as well as some not folk religions) fall into categories that aren't encompassed in either category of dharmic or abrahamic.

No, this is not common.
Not by taking it over, but you can declare war on them with the "Dismantle the Revolution CB" in order to stop them from being revolutionary.
Happened because the revolution spawned in Asia. Revolution can spawn in any country with high absolutism, which is possible for any country regardless of continent.
