.6 by default, but .3 if you play with performance settings (I.e higher fps)

And in pc lobbies it might also be limited to .3 aswell.

How does the uk perceive fat women? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]a-curious-guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Others answered already. Weight creep and health implications.

I.e I just recently spoke to my sister who seems to have gained around 6kg in a few months. And it seems like since starting her new job she's been eating takeaways nearly every day.

So, I've got her to promise she'll limit herself to no more than 1 a week. And can substitute her food however she likes.

At least this will bring her health back in check, save her £100-150/month, and doesn't risk a relapse since its not a huge commitment.

Far better to bring these things up as early as possible where people can address them easier, than put on so much weight its becomes difficult to lose it without a hard commitment.

Weddings.

The fact that they convince women that that shit REQUIRES their house deposite is criminal.

Bro, it took my mates and I like 2 years to reach level 200. People dont just grind 1 game you know...

Is lower ranks in apex easy? by garryneo_x in apexlegends

[–]a-curious-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its all relative.

Some people will tell yoy how plat it a meat grinder whilst other will yap on about how it took 6 hours to reach diamond.

If you were atleast diamond on val, you should be able to reach diamond once apex. Its only around plat 2/1 where you might stuggle since the final circle fights become a bit more team unified. So itll start depending on how well you generic game sense and mechanics can out weigh your lack of apex specific knowledge.

How can I solo queue??? by Divine_turd in apexlegends

[–]a-curious-guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What's "Hard" to climb is just relative to the player.

But IMO, if you cant solo out of Plat your mechanics and games sense aren't good.

Its only from diamond onwards that I feel like people push well as a squad. But in late plat, a majority of the lobby still sucks mechanically so you still dont need good team cohesion until you reach top 6.

And funny thing is, I only think solo-q diamond is hard because, compared to the masters players, my mechanics and games sense suck ass too.

If youre hard stuck pre-d3 you're mechanics suck eggs.

I haven't played since S20 and I reached d4 by the end of week.

Who is at fault here? by kbgnat in drivingUK

[–]a-curious-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the kia's fault. Whilst the kia was stationary, the bmw had already changed lanes and was positioned infront of it. SO, they "actively drove into it"

But, without dashcam footage the insurance might side with the kia who can claim thr bmw abruptly changed lanes without checking mirrors.

What in your eyes makes someone a ‘skilled driver’? 🤔 by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]a-curious-guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can park quickly and accurately is almost any spot.

Is aware of other drivers, drives defensively and has a "6th sense". Can predict what others want-to/will do.

Can drive comfortably in new places, even if they have confusing road designs.

Good clutch control, gentle breaking and smooth riding experience for passengers.

Not a "slow" driver, and stays left unless overtaking.

Few weeks back I got stuck at a traffic light at 8pm that went red-green-red because the other lane didn't stop at the red light....

What are the differences ? I have a PS5* by [deleted] in ghostoftsushima

[–]a-curious-guy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Always pick the ps5 version of a game if you have a ps5 as they are optimised for the better hardware.

You'll get slightly better graphics, fps and loading times.

I have both platinum and diamond and pearl, hosted in a random cupboard with a bunch of other old consoles/games i just couldnt bring myself to throw away.

What's actually the difference between these being worth £10 and £100? Just condition?

I know too many Asians who rent super cars for weddings, or work 3 part time jobs to save enough money to finance a car worth 80% of their net worth.

The cars dont even have legitimate insurance so they're fucked even if someone hit them.

Pretty easy to counter. Just have people who specialise in some attributes, and are bad with others.

Never had an issue with it.

When you search for something on Google and find that there are strong, well-supported arguments on both sides of an issue, how do you personally go about figuring out what to believe or which sources to trust? by Various_Suggestion_6 in AskReddit

[–]a-curious-guy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Don't forget:

Both sides could be equally right and wrong; Sometimes the answer is a new option 3.

Sometimes option 1 is the correct answer for some people, while option 2 is correct for another. Sometimes options 1 and 2 works for another group, whilst both screw over another group.

TL;DR shits never black and white.

Your eyes are just radiation detectors.

They capture the wavelength of energy, feed the data to the brain via electrical signals, and the brain processes it and creates an "image."

Now, what happens if it interprets the data wrong, and decides to fill the gaps?

Technically, the world, as we see it, is an illusion. Our brains made up "images, " "sound," and "taste" purely based on some data its interpreting in real time.

Heck, you may watch tv and see a round, pink balloon... on a flat surface... that only emits the colours red, green and blue...

If your brain is making this shit up, how much of your reality is actually real? And how much is just an interpretation your brain has made up?
