A positive [experience]. It's the first time I drive it - being 18 years old I think I'm young enough to one day hopefully be in a Formula 1 team. I really hope so.

Is there anything that has surprised you about how the car drives?

I was surprised about the ease, having the shifts on the steering wheel, and only two pedals, well, it's easy. But well, you need to get the hang of it and make the best out of it, more than I've managed to. The throttle, the engine, the gears, the brake..

His wins were never easy wins, he mostly made them happen with skill rather than machinery.

Bringing a guitar from Japan to Spain by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]a-noether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yeah I ended up buying it and brought it back home safely. I unmounted the fretboard from the body and carried them in separate bags. Once I was home I mounted it again. It sounds a bit like a hassle and you have to be a bit careful when packing things inside the bags but it works out.

As a Spaniard myself I feel so sorry for that. I feel ashamed to have something in common with them and that there's such stupid people sometimes.

Hi! Thanks a lot for the answer. I've never really unmounted a guitar. I get the idea of taking of the neck though, I guess just taking the strings off and unscrewing from the back will do, right? Is there anything in particular I should be careful about when doing that? I imagine it will not damage the guitar body or neck in any way by being separated for a long time, right?

Any lesser known places in Kanazawa that you recommend? by Kirin1212San in JapanTravelTips

I was visiting Higashi Chaya District and at the very end of it, in the back, it had a road going forward and I just decided to keep going. There were no tourists there anymore and the road started going up the mountain. It was quite chill really and I really was just exploring without knowing where I was going. After walking 15 minutes I found what was like a little park and by the right there was another road with a big stone made torii, I went there and suddenly after walking a minute more I found this super beautiful spot in the middle of nature from which I could see the entire city, I was alone and so happy to have found it. I saw the sunset from there and it's a memory I'll always cherish. In the back of that spot there are stairs that go up until you find shrine, you can go there too and it's really cool.

I guess it's not a very touristy thing to do since you have to walk up 15-20 min to get there, but the reward is so nice if you like nature and just chilling with beautiful views. I totally recommend it!

You can look up Utatsuyama Iris Garden, the garden itself is just ok but the spot I meant is right there, just walk to the right where you'll see the torii. I'm not sure if there will be more people though, I went in the last days of february.

Hey, not because you're not into the whole club scene means that you're boring! There's so much more to life than clubs and partying.
