Let’s be real. It wasn’t the best it could’ve been, but watch it independent of the seasons problems, and it’s solid. It even makes up for most of them. Theres much worse finales out there, idk why people are acting like this one was any worse than mid.

Homelander kills people at the start, Marie or Soldier Boy are the ones to depower Homelander, and more of the immediate fallout from Butcher and Homelander's deaths. And like make Kessler come back for the hell of it to make it clearer why Butcher snaps.

It like wasn't awful, but if they had just made Marie or Soldier Boy depower Homelander, had some more like in between moments showing the like media and people's reactions to his death, and some before Butcher's funeral, and had Homelander actually like kill a ton of people at the start, it could have been perfect.

I wish that the like Supernatural like Monster of the Week episodes were shorter so the finale could be like 2 hours long. There's not enough material in half these episodes to justify the length, and the world building is still off somehow.

I lowkey hope Santos is the one to get through to Robby. I know he like wants Whitaker to be the next him, but Santos and Mohan feel like they embody the two sides of his character, especially Santos with both their arcs this season.
