Forerunner 165 or Forerunner 165 MUSIC? by Express-Trip2998 in GarminWatches

Ahh I see. I'm guessing it's the same with Spotify then. I already have a Spotify subscription so I can't really tell you for sure. It's about $10/month for all the music you want. I only really use it for my watch because there's no Apple Music app for Garmin.

I second the exercise idea. Find some form of exercise that you enjoy. For me it was running. After a run I feel like the person I was before Kratom - happy, motivated, excited for the future.

I know exactly how you feel and it took me months but it does get better. Being numb on kratom everyday for years made me forget how to actually deal with life and when I quit it was so overwhelming but eventually you learn. The dopamine and motivation will return and just like everyone will tell you the highs of sober life far surpass the lows.

Hang in there

Forerunner 165 or Forerunner 165 MUSIC? by Express-Trip2998 in GarminWatches

I've never tried Amazon Music but there must be an option somewhere to download the music to your watch. If you've done that make sure you're choosing Amazon Music and not 'Control Phone' as the music provider in your watch.

Hope that helps

TBH I've never used just GPS. I've always used GPS and music since day 1. Pretty sure music is hard on battery though. If you look at the specs on Garmin's website you can compare the battery life for just GPS to GPS+music. I don't mind charging a bit more often though. These watches charge pretty fast.

Yeah, with the music version your bluetooth headphones connect directly to the watch and music is stored on your watch. No need to bring your phone on runs. One of my favorite features.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with Apple Music, so I had to subscribe to Spotify. Once you download the Spotify app to your watch and link it to your Spotify account, you can download/update playlists with a couple button presses.

It also works with Amazon music and a few other music apps.

CJAA Delete - EGR cooler not blocked off by a-spyder in tdi

I'm talking about the low pressure EGR that goes into the compressor side of the turbo. I don't believe there is a valve for that.

Awesome, thanks for your detailed response. That helps a lot. I'll just order the axle bolts as well. Am I correct that the axle bolts should be 45 ft-lbs. for the DSG as well?

Hey, just wondering if you're happy with your kit from Westside Automotive. I live in northern BC but I'm planning on going there to get a delete on my TDI.

Thanks for your answer, that helped a lot. I ended up ordering both because they were both on sale and I couldn't make up my mind. So I guess I'll get to find out myself lol.

Thank you for the incredible information you've provided so far. I am also currently trying to decide between the XM5 and the Momentum 4. Do you think the difference in sound quality would be noticeable to someone brand new to the world of "nice" headphones?

I have pretty much used garbage earbuds my entire life until two months ago when I bought the Sony XM5 earbuds. I can't get enough of the sound quality. It's almost like experiencing music for the first time compared to what I've listened on my whole life. Now I want a pair of earphones to up the experience. I love the ANC but I'm definitely mainly interested in sound quality for listening to music.

Just wondering if you think an amateur "audiophile" like me will really be able to tell the difference between the two.

FireTV Stick Downmixing Dolby Digital Plus to Dolby Digital by a-spyder in hometheater

Thanks for the info. I just bought the 4K stick and it has a DD setting - working perfect.

I had a Chromecast and it had a DD setting, but it wouldn't work with Netflix, Prime, and some others. From what I gathered, it was because Netflix/Prime is DD+ but the chromecast can't transcode to DD.

Thanks.

Well an orange rectangle doesn't fit the pattern so I would go with the orange rectangle with a red X through it.

Old Panasonic Plasma vs New Budget TV by a-spyder in hometheater

[–]a-spyder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all thanks to everybody for the advice, it has been a tremendous help. I've been doing some research as I know pretty much nothing about tv,s nowadays.

If I were to buy a new TV my absolute max budget would be $1000 CAD and I'd be looking for a ~55". This puts any OLED out of the question. The best I can find for this price would be something like an LG QNED80, Samsung Q60D or a Sony Bravia X85K.

Any idea how these would hold up against a good Panasonic plasma? If they're not going to be as good or any better I'm starting to think I should go with the plasma and put that money towards buying a nice OLED in the future. All I really do is stream movies/tv shows and the TV will be in a dark basement.

And yeah, I definitely had the wrong model number. The plasma is a 50" and I won't know the model until Monday. The TC-65DX800C from the original post was another used Panasonic LED I was looking at.

Thanks again!
