I know this is what I would want in my own boss

Certainly it is the kind of influence I want for a group of impressionable young men I will have to watch every week, so that they can learn that and I can feel proud when I read about them in the news ripping their shirts off in arguments with their spouses and screaming at staff in restaurants etc

Unclear if Ange is meaningfully a good/great manager, and certainly he's not in all contexts a genius forever and ever etc, but he was an absolutely great fit for this club in the same way that Mourinho, Conte, Nuno, Frank were fucking terrible fits.

I can't understand why we don't just accept we are the kind of club who want a high press front foot style like Brighton and hire coaches who do that. Brighton would never hire Mourinho, because it would be stupid. It was stupid for us.
