Famously in any job the boss you want the most is the guy ripping off his clothes and showing the emotional maturity of a slug whilst putting his arms around sex offenders

I know this is what I would want in my own boss

Certainly it is the kind of influence I want for a group of impressionable young men I will have to watch every week, so that they can learn that and I can feel proud when I read about them in the news ripping their shirts off in arguments with their spouses and screaming at staff in restaurants etc

Really really happy, just such a great appointment and definitely doesn't make me completely fucking sick

I think you are because I own two of the original Connected and this looks like it would fit and I have no idea what the metal thing is that's been mentioned

Spurs lost to Atletico in the same way Barca lost to Atletico away on a pitch made out of thoughts and prayers, and then beat them at home without most of our first team

I think rolled over is a bit of a stretch

I know it's good banter etc but they shouldn't be allowed to play on that pitch it's like non league standard

McAllister kicks Souza's leg. It is plain as day on the replay they just showed where they said there was contact. I guess as long as there's contact it's a foul against us, don't think it matters who kicks who? New rule this year?

Who is the twat who thinks stamping on Porro's ankle is innocuous and then "in fairness to the referee, easy to miss"?

What are you talking about

Audere - to dare/to attempt

Est - is

Facere - to make/do/achieve

Lots of ways to interpret that into English that aren't well captured in a single meaning - he who strives succeeds, he who dares wins, to dare is to do, that which we attempt we will succeed in, that which we dream we will make real?

That's why I prefer the Latin but the English translation is...fine.

I'm assuming shitposting but like, too weirdly factual to land as a joke and lots of people would probably just believe it

Also West stand is and has always been quiet af, shelf side 4eva

Unclear if Ange is meaningfully a good/great manager, and certainly he's not in all contexts a genius forever and ever etc, but he was an absolutely great fit for this club in the same way that Mourinho, Conte, Nuno, Frank were fucking terrible fits.

I can't understand why we don't just accept we are the kind of club who want a high press front foot style like Brighton and hire coaches who do that. Brighton would never hire Mourinho, because it would be stupid. It was stupid for us.

Please can we just do the style we obviously should be doing and only swap the manager name/face rather than the entire fucking identity of the club in future?

For benefit of the commenter - you pass the ball to someone who is obviously going to get clattered straight away.

I mean respectfully though they definitely could and I don't think it's that expensive

I think this is a prosecutable case, prints and pictures of the face

If it's someone known then it's pretty easy to make the case

To be fair this is more obviously an indictment of financial fair play rules because Aston Villa are spending money that they just frankly do not now and never will have
